25.01.2022 First 2 jobs created at the same time out of our new workshop.

25.01.2022 Been the week for trailer repairs. This old girl has had a hard life and the drawbar decided it had enough. After closing the crack and straightening the draw bar, Using 100x75x8 angle and 75x10 flat plate this trailer is now ready to see another 25 years. Stitch welded on with silicone beed to keep moisture out. The mud guards and combing rails were beyond repair. Re using what we could to keep to a budget including recycled heavy duty 3mm mud guards from a doner trailer.

24.01.2022 All heading to the one property next week. Couple more 3bays to complete the order, will make for one very smart, tidy looking property . All ordered in WOODLAND GREY and we agree it makes the natural cypress shine! . No rear doors. . All have fully insulated roof. . Internal "hug boards" (500mm timber sides so the dog will not sit against cold or hot iron) ... Lucky dogs!

24.01.2022 Had fun making up this prototype shooters rest. It uses suction cups with a combined strength of holding over 300kg. Made completly of aluminium it is lucky to be 2kg making this very light weight yet secure. Complelty adjustable for drivers side or passenger side shooters with multiple points for the rifle to rest in for maximum comfort. With a alloy mesh floor for the option of using a sand bag or pad also.

20.01.2022 We have now expanded into making our off-ground pens with some new features: -Colourbond iron and flashings available in over 20 colours, in your chosen combination -Airlock/storage above kennels to help with heat and air flow. -Cypress decking with natural linseed oil, and beveled edge, to aid easier cleaning.... -rear doors, with heavy duty locking pins and rubber seal to prevent noise and cold air. -made with our custom skid base, for easy maneuvering with specific tow points on each corner. - fixing point for it to be secured to ground if choose. 20.01.2022 We are now stocking local businesses! This has always been a goal of ours to supply to our own community. We buy and use as much locally sourced material as possible. We have been working like crazy behind the scenes to ensure this transition goes nice and smoothly. 18.01.2022 This is our latest adjustable 6.5m loading ramp with altered sheep yards, to suit. This is designed on several footings to distribute the weight, much like a snow shoe, due to its swampy and wet location. Features:... Winch- Australian made "Oz Block" Fully Stainless steel, 316 marine grade, including the cable, barrel and handle. Pulley system makes for easy and smooth movements. The winch also features a braking system, to ensure workplace safety. It is also suited to sustain weather situations. Fully adjustable ramp height. Varies from 500mm (trailer height), to 3rd deck (truck height). Ramp and walkway. Drivers side walkway, non-slip footing, for both livestock and people. Safety guard rails throughout, to ensure maximum user safety. Footings. Large concreted footings, as per customers request, due to issues with previous ramp setup. All off ground to ensure long life of the steel structure. Moving mechanisms all fitted with grease points, making maintenance easy. Concrete base contains drain to ensure water flow is kept to a minimum, in high traffic areas. And ease of cleaning. Existing yards upgraded, replacing old timber posts with steel and creating new panels, gates and fences. Including a new force yard.

17.01.2022 These twins are finished and heading off to their new home tomorrow.. Steve's finally taking some well deserved time out and I finished up these kennels myself, ready to go.. 17.01.2022 Getting things rolling, framed out ready to add doors, mesh and iron. Our biggest bulk order yet, 5 kennels. Consisting of; ~ 2 x 3bay ~ 1 x 2bay ~ 1 x 1bay... ~ 1 x 1bay super single. (Not pictured) Our new super single is for those larger breed dogs or dogs who just love their personal space. It is 300mm higher than our already spacious standard size, a full 1000mm longer and 300mm wider. Making it overall 3600mm long, 1200mm high (1700mm in total height. 500mm ground clearance) 1200mm wide!!! Plenty of space!! Things have been very busy latley with work, holiday season and struggling with heat. We appreciate everyones patience.

15.01.2022 This was an interesting "fix up" you could say. We will all sleep a little better tonight knowing this trailer is safe for the road and other road users around it. Some before and after photos of a trailer Steve recently repaired. In his words its one of the 'careless built trailers' he has seen. We could go on and explain the horrid welds etc but we think the photos will speak for themselves. We added new rocker roller heavy duty springs, reinforced the sub frame with angle, folded and fitted new mud guards, re-packed and set the wheel bearings along with a new 7pin plug. All round a much safer trailer to be on our roads. Stay safe people.

Only recently we decided to turn our weekend welding hobby into our full time work. We certainly did not plan on doing this durring a pandemic and we simply cannot continue without our lovely customers. We custom build anything! But our kennels have shined! 12.01.2022 We love positive feedback, this week a happy customer sent us a photo of their new bank of kennels. We replaced the old set of kennels with the colourbond matched to surrounding sheds. Making for a very tidy professional looking propery.

12.01.2022 Todays build, a rock/wood bucket. Customer wanted a bucket to be a multi-fit, to suit his John Deer and McCormick tractors. With bolt on side arms so it can be used to pick up long logs also. Left raw steel to customers request.

11.01.2022 We appreciate everyones patience who orderd their kennel in our June KENNEL sale. Steve has been busy today stocking up with eveything we need to dive into these orders as of late next week. With the new covid laws and restrictions coming in on Sunday night we want to make sure we have everything on hand and restrict our movements as much as possible where we can. We endeavour to get these builds to our customers as soon as we can. Thanks again.

06.01.2022 1 of 2 twins completed with our new self fill watering system. Also fitted with our pivot style feeder bowls. (Can also do water pivot bowls in the door) We designed this in mind with the 150mm PVC and the pivot bowls intruding into the run space. So we added 500mm into the length of this design. Making them a spacious 3000mm overall !! Description on photos.

01.01.2022 This was a build Steve did 4 years ago to help the local Hamilton Wildlife Rescue. We pride ourselves in supporting our local businesses and not for profit organisations. Big thanks to this champion Steven Ahearn for volunteering his time and skills to build the frame for the grand aviary (with the help of site supervisor wife Zoe of course). He finished up today after putting in many hours of work in his free time, now we can start working on putting up the aviary mesh and iron!! Yay for progress! THANKS STEVE AND ZOE!
