23.01.2022 W E D D I N G W E D N E S D A Y ! Today we share Charters Towers couple Jesse & Lana Harrison's Tinaroo Lake Resort wedding. With all of the recent rain the Lake is at over 90% capacity and looking superb. Bring on the 2018 wedding season! We are crushing over the styling of the reception. Tinaroo Lake Resort always delivers the WOW factor add the greenery and candles and we are in heaven! ... FROM THE BRIDE HIGHLIGHT The ceremony! I was really laid back once I made it down the aisle. It was such a beautiful location and marrying my husband was really all I wanted out of the day! FUNNIEST MOMENT The surprise performance of Jesse’s Girl by the groomsmen and Jesse’s friends (which they had no prior knowledge of!) was absolutely hilarious! Nobody had any clue of the words other than the chorus! Jesse had to hide behind a napkin he was laughing so hard. ADVICE FOR BRIDES/GROOMS It can be windy by the Lake so bear that in mind when deciding on your dress and hair! There are amazing locations all around the area for photos - when the Jacarandas are out they look amazing! ONE SUPPLIER YOU FOUND WHO WAS AMAZING Nat from Stella Florist is such a lovely soul with such amazing talent, she made me feel like my vision of the day was beautiful and really ensured it came to life with her florals and stylings. 15.01.2022 W E D D I N G W E D N E S D A Y ! With all of this rain about we thought we would share Jamie & Chloe Connell's wet Biboohra wedding day. FROM THE BRIDE... Our day was really wet. It rained most of the week leading up. On the Saturday morning it was very overcast and gloomy. The boys went out to Simmonds Venue (Biboohra) and set up. The girls had only got about half way through hair and make up and it started drizzling. I was still staying positive meanwhile everyone else was in a panic. Little did I know, the boys had been keeping in contact with the bridesmaids and it was actually pouring rain at the venue and everything that had been set up had been completely washed out. They did an exceptional job at keeping it from me. Once I was ready, it was time to leave but the girls kept telling me not to rush because there was a slight shower passing over the venue. So we kept getting photos to kill time until the rain started. While we were driving in, I kept commenting on how wet the road was and the girls finally admitted that they had been hiding the actual weather conditions from me all day. Jamie was so relieved when we finally arrived (an hour late!) We got through the ceremony without a single drop of rain but as soon as we walked back down the aisle it started pouring so heavy that the whole paddock turned into a lake. We braved the rain to get our photos. I did end up getting my dress extremely dirty but we had the time of our lives and we ended up with beautiful unique photos! Lauren from Living the Dream Photography did an amazing job!
