25.01.2022 We have had several geese hatch out goslings in the past few days. They have all combined, along with their attendant ganders to form one mega group. Much honking as they trek through the orchard! We will have abundant geese available later.

23.01.2022 A few photos in addition to Renae's. Renae's Wiltipoll sheep enjoying their first day at their new home Raymon repairing the driveway following heavy rain on 25/1 Renae's sweetcorn, safe from our raiding cows

22.01.2022 Mum once asked me "what inspires you?". At the time I probably said some noncommittal comment, but really it was her. My strong, capable mother inspired me in all she did. Cinematography by Chris Lewis ABC

22.01.2022 Time for a few sheep photos. I had company when pruning several days ago Also, Renae and Matt checking the sheep, with the dogs watching on with great interest.

19.01.2022 Raymon's corn patch was looking magnificent, and we were discussing our first meal of corn. However, our cows plotted a raid - broke down a gate, walked past rows of fruit laden trees and straight to the corn patch. Now not much left. Third photo is a line up of the usual suspects.

18.01.2022 Renae with her veges on our stall at the Wirrabara Producers Market this morning. A hot day, so some water activity in the dam later on. Another 7 goslings with their very protective parents. Our geese numbers continue to increase!

18.01.2022 Two days, two markets. Yesterday was at Kadina, and I was fortunate to have Ruth Keen's help for the morning. Today was at Wirrabara, and Renae and I were kept busy with the many customers. Weather is remarkably mild for mid January. Note the clothing.

17.01.2022 Several Spring photos of the fruit trees in flower. Firstly, the apricots, and then two of the narabeen plums after the recent rain.

15.01.2022 And now time for some 'Spring is on the way' photos, with the almond trees and acacias flowering

15.01.2022 There’s nothing like heading into the orchard each morning and finding gorgeous fruits ripe for picking! Fruit competition leaders as of today: Largest peach: Paul (310 g) Largest plum: Renae (125 g)

12.01.2022 Our cows enjoying a fresh paddock. The spring rains and mild temperatures have ensured plenty of pasture growth.

10.01.2022 An approaching cold front last Friday afternoon. Looking north and looking south. Time to give pruning away for the day!

09.01.2022 View from our stall at the Port Pirie Producers Market this morning. First market there since March. Plenty of '60's tunes from the Juke Box Boys. Enjoyed their music. I had a front row stall! I have added a 'close up' shot. Taralee is directly behind on the other side of the Range

07.01.2022 Renae with her veges: cabbages, caulis, broccoli, silverbeet, on our stall at the Wirrabara Producers Market last Sunday. Also, photo of the quince trees in flower

04.01.2022 A Spring photo. Plums have finished flowering and now in leaf. Apricots and peaches are in flower

03.01.2022 Early morning from several days ago, following overnight rain. Grass is growing rapidly with some warmer days, and Raymon is spending time on the slasher in the orchard. Goslings also growing rapidly, and our gaggle of geese cover an amazing distance around the property every day

02.01.2022 A few updates on the farm family: We welcome Pippa as well as 32 new Wiltipoll sheep ! Today we also farewell old Shauny the Sheep, who has been with us for 14 years. Thankyou Shauny for all the times you led the flock straight into the yards and persuaded me to always sneak you a bucket of grain Renae
