23.01.2022 SOLE TRADERS - JOB KEEPER APPLICATIONS Sole traders who have had trouble with their applications, we have a series of screen shots that should help you complete it. Clients have expressed problems with:- 1. Finding the application - it is under 'Manage Employees'; 2. Errors with employees - you select '0' as number of ... employees (if you do not employ anyone else); Again - please be patient. The applications only opened today, and the ATO online services has struggled with demand. We expect this to ease over the next few days. There is still plenty of time to get your applications in.

20.01.2022 Congratulations - weve all made it to Spring Reminder to our businesses - job keeper declarations need to be lodged for August. Remember - you are still able to continue to claim Job Keeper even if your turnover has increased or more than your previous year. This is the case until the end of September. 18.01.2022 For the businesses eligible for Job Keeper payments, applications will open on the 20th April. The quickest and most effective way to apply, is having access to the ATO Business Portal for your business.Download the myGovID app (different to myGov) and follow the instructions to prove your identity and link your business.

Our waiting room has a maximum of 4 people (this includes children) and only 2 customers can be in the interview room so please keep this in mind. 08.01.2022 JOB KEEPER UPDATE There are 2 steps to Job Keeper applications:- Step 1 - ENROL. (You have until the 31st of May to enrol for the 2 X fortnight's in April);... Step 2 - ENTER Employee details, and your income figures for April, as well as your projected income for May. Note: Sole Traders you just have to enter the income figures (if you have no employees). FOR THOSE BUSINESS WITH EMPLOYEES:- You have until tomorrow night (Fri 8/5) to make sure you have paid your employees the minimum $1500 per fortnight (This does not apply to Sole Traders with Zero employees). If you use Single Touch Payroll you will report this to the ATO via your software.

05.01.2022 So far this tax season, we have lodged over 1200 Individual Tax Returns, of which nearly 400 have been via Zoom or Phone. Wes and Marion are long term clients of ours, and live in WA. 05.01.2022 JOBKEEPER enrolment has been extended to 31st May JOBKEEPER catch up payments for employees have been extended to 8th May. Therefore you will still be eligible to claim Jobkeeper for the 2 X fortnight's in April by applying before 31/5/2020....
