08.01.2022 OPEN YOUR EYES Taking plastic free July as an opportunity to open your eyes to the truth. Unfortunately we are surrounded by so much greenwashing that we dont know anymore what to believe and what not. Labelling and marketing can be very misleading. We are all trying to do the right thing, and to me the right thing is to educate people. To be raw, open and honest. Yes we arent perfect either and as much as Id love to say out straws are locally sourced, I have struggled ...to find local farmers to supply us. Drought, financial struggles, volumes and many more issues havent allowed us to source out of Australia. But there is so much goodness to the Naked Straw compared to any other straw on the market. They grow naturally, can be composted at home, biodegrade in only a few month and do not need any extra resources as they are straws made from straw, which is a byproduct of the wheat production. I started this business out of love for nature and Ill keep fighting for a better tomorrow everyday. Thanks to all the businesses who have made the change

Who wants to drink plastic? However, you already are! Microplastics have been found in our (tap and bottled) water, our soil, our salt, our food, our poop and our air... . They are plastic particles smaller than 5mm in diameter and invisible to the naked eye (mine anyways) .
