11.01.2022 What an awesome couple of week's of learning for our plumbing apprentices during their Sanitary training block at PICAC Beenleigh. First up, we had a presentation from David Meiklejohn from Abey Australia discussing the correct methods for clipping pipework and the pros and cons of flexible connectors. Next up, we had Lyon White from Agru Australia Pty Ltd demonstrate the correct installation and electrofusion welding methods for HDPE pipe. Then to wrap it up, students att...ended a presentation from Grant Weymouth from Studor to explain how AAV's, PAPA's and active venting systems function and differ from conventional plumbing systems. Not to mention, all the fun we had in between installing various types of plumbing systems and installing and fitting off our Caroma fixtures. Check it out!
