25.01.2022 Or in a COVID lockdown...

24.01.2022 For the client that is...I promise to stay awake .

23.01.2022 Oh Hi I’ve seen quite a few beautiful new faces drop into my feed over the last few weeks and I wanted to say a big HELLO! If your a new follower I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about myself and my background.... I’m Casey and my vision is to empower, support and nurture my clients on their individual journeys. Encouraging conscious beauty, authentic wellbeing, healthy nutrition and mindfulness! After 15 years in traditional beauty I made the conscious decision to solely focus on the internal and external wellbeing with a holistic approach to the skin, mind and body. I pride myself on my devotion to educate my clients on clean beauty, toxin free skincare, self care, natural healthcare and to give them access to the most superior treatments. I specialise in skin rituals and facials, tanning, sugaring hair removal technique and natural healthcare alternatives with essential oils. So there you have it. Regardless of whether you are new here or not, tell me one wonderful thing about yourself so I can get to know you back!

23.01.2022 I’m always educating my clients to use reusable bamboo facial pads/cloths for many reasons. So I’m excited to let you all know I now have these @ever.eco bamboo facial pads in stock. These amazing pads are dual sided to suit all skin types. Soft velour on one side for sensitive skin and eye make up removal and terrycloth on the other side for a gentle exfoliation and stubborn makeup. The best part is they come in their own wash bag so after you have used them all you have to do is rinse, pop them in the bag and machine wash. Who’s excited to try these? @ever.eco

22.01.2022 ~ STRESS AND OUR SKIN ~ Our skin is intricately linked to our central nervous system which means our thoughts, feelings and emotions can impact it. When we are stressed our body releases cortisol and cortisol affects so many functions in our body including our skin health. ... If stress is happening in your body it will at some point show up in your skin, whether that be eczema, fungal or bacterial skin infections, rashes, excess oil, redness, dryness or the length of time it takes your skin to heal after a breakout or flare up. This is why we need to care for our entire health and wellbeing when it comes to our skin health. If stress triggers your skin try getting some more sleep, exercising, including some deep breathing and meditation into your routine and making sure you are having some ME time. Have you ever noticed a change in your skin when you have been stressed?

18.01.2022 Oh Lordy I’ve had the BEST couple of days being back in the clinic this week. Now more than ever I am so grateful to do what I do for my clients. The stress of the last few months has been huge for so many people and it’s not just a facial or beauty treatment you experience when you step into my space, it’s so much more and I’m so thankful I can share that with you all. Moving forward appointments are filling fast so make sure you jump online and book to avoid missing out. X

18.01.2022 You skin is unique to you and has unique needs, therefore requires something different to your friend, sister or anyone for that matter- there is not a single skincare treatment or product that will work for everyone. Following someone else’s routine isn’t going to work the same for you as it does for them. Same goes for diet and exercise. Thats why it’s so important to me to completely customise treatments and skincare plans just for you and your skin to get the best long term results. It also means that every treatment you have can be slightly different as your skin can change in between appointments and by doing this we can continue to get phenomenal results. X Pinterest

15.01.2022 Let’s talk about cleansing in the morning. Although most of my clients are using a simple skincare routine, quite often it will be slightly different in the morning to what it is of a nighttime, so cleansing the skin when you wake up is important to prep the skin for your morning products and really allow them to do their job. Your skin also detoxifies of a night, toxins are released through your skin from all of your organs, dead skin is shed and think of those nights you sw...eat...yuck! The @aika_truewellness Pure Polishes are perfect for your morning cleanse. These concentrated Ayurvedic face polishes transform into a creamy fluffy texture when activated with water and gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin. Do you cleanse in the morning? @aika_truewellness

15.01.2022 Vitamin A is one of the most versatile ingredients in skincare. It is an absolute game changer for so many different skin conditions, however it is handy to know there are different forms of Vitamin A in skincare products and they do not all have the same results. What does Vit A do? 1. Resurface - corrects the surface of the skin, great for acne, pigment and dry skin.... 2. Regulate - regulates oil in the skin, either stimulates oil if the skin is dry or reduces oil if the skin has too much. 3. Stimulate - increases collagen and elastin, great for scarring and fine line and wrinkles. 4. Repairs and restores normal function into all of the cells in the skin, great for barrier repair and the immunity of the skin. We have a couple of options when it comes to Vitamin A products in clinic depending on your skin needs and priorities. Do you need to add Vitamin A to your skincare routine?

13.01.2022 In a time when there is so much uncertainty the anxieties can be high. The way you speak to yourself matters - I needed this little reminder this week. So here is your reminder to take a deep breath and practice a little self-kindness today. X

13.01.2022 You are what you eat...make sure you remember that when it comes to the health of your skin. During a skin consultation I always ask my clients about what they eat. I’m not looking at whether what you are eating is ‘good’ or ‘bad’ it just gives me an idea of how healthy you skin cells are depending on the nutritional value of the foods you are eating and whether there is any small changes we can make that will support your skin health. I’m definitely not a nutritionist but I... do know that inner health and the food we fuel our body with is vital to the health of our skin. Pop a emoji below with your favourite fruit or veggie...

08.01.2022 FOOD JOURNALING and why it’s an important tool I use when working with my clients. Culprits like Hormones, inflammation, glycation (causes skin damage and ageing) and free radicals are all connected and they are something you can help control with food. Food journaling is something I use to identify the foods in your diet that could be triggering problems, for your skin and otherwise and it’s very possible that there are actually some foods that you think are great that are ...impairing you. I usually get clients to journal every single thing that they eat and drink (including medicines and supplements) for 3-7 days. I utilise the journal to help link certain foods to allergies or sensitivities. Sensitivities to different foods are at the root of bad skin a lot of the time because they trigger low-level immune response, and therefore, inflammation. The don’t always cause massive reactions but over time can turn into chronic inflammation in the skin. Have you ever done a food journal to see if there is a link between the food/drinks you are eating/drinking and what’s happening with your skin?

06.01.2022 Proudly introducing to our shelves (and treatment room as soon as we are back in the clinic )...BIOLOGI. Another beautiful, and innovative Australian brand. Why we love BIOLOGI...... Biologi is the worlds first ever 100% active single ingredient, pure plant serum. It is high preforming, results and science driven and is formulated for real skin concerns, issues and priorities (redness, eczema, pigmentation, acne prone, dehydration and ageing just to name a few). Biologi chooses not to dilute, alter, synthesise or manipulate the extract in any way. You won’t find additives, fragrances, preservatives or water - just 100% plant serum which is exactly why we fell in love with it. Whose excited? I know I am. Got questions? I’m here to answer them. X

05.01.2022 A key focus of a Wellness Assembly skin ritual is to guide our clients into a deep state of relaxation to invite your parasympathetic nervous system to work it’s magic and support your body to rest, repair and rejuvenate. This is why you will experience a unique facial massage in your skin ritual with a variety of massage techniques catered to you and your needs. 02.01.2022 Why we choose small batch skincare I choose small batch skincare due to product purity, integrity of the ingredients and the mindful creation of each product. Knowing the products I recommend to my clients are being blended in small-hand crafted batches, created fresh each and every month, made from the best clean ingredients and with intention is something I’m just not prepared to compromise on. ... I also love that I get to communicate my input first hand and train with the amazing minds and hearts behind the products that I carefully pick. X

02.01.2022 FOOD JOURNALING 2.0 The next part of a food journal is keeping track of physical symptoms like any headaches, stomachaches, intense hunger pangs, or bloating you may experience. Low energy, bursts of energy, sleepiness, insomnia - all need to be documented along with everything you eat and drink. I also ask for clients to include emotional shifts, like mood swings and any observations about your skin (both in the morning when you wake and just before bed). Also documenting ...what your skin is like after using your products. Did you cleanser leave your skin feeling tight? Did you wake up with a breakout? Do you feel like your moisturiser is just sitting on the surface? All of these things will help guide both myself and the client to whether there is a link to certain foods (inc medications and supps), drinks, products etc and your health and skin health.
