Dr. Bellon is President at Cosmetoscent, the immediate past-president of the French Society of Cosmetology, as well as doctor of Pharmacy of University of Pharmacy of Paris and doctor in Pharmaceutical Process of University of Pharmacy of Lille. With over 44 years’ experience, first in pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations and then i...n Neurosciences, Dr. Bellon has implemented data acquisition measurement methods in order to define the emotional benefits of fragrances and cosmetics, by psychophysiological parameters and behavioral assessments. Dr. Bellon will speak about the physiological, cognitive and behavioral components of emotion, and the emotional properties of cosmetics that serve consumer wellbeing and happiness. In the last few decades, many scientific studies have been conducted to investigate the effect of cream applications on skin and on human brain functions, substantiating the benefits of neuroscience in cosmetics. His past accomplishments span include: 15 years as Vice President Innovation Applied Research on fragrance developments at SYMRISE, 6 years R&D Head manager at SHISEIDO, and he began his career as Director-General, Head Pharmacist in a Pharmaceutical Laboratory (LHF). After diversification of the Pharmaceutical Group (OHF), he continued first to work as Director of Pharmaceutical Operations for OHF, then for CLONATEC as Director-General, Head Pharmacist and at last for the CORYSE SALOME Beauty Salon Franchise as Director-General.
