07.01.2022 The beautiful Black Chapel in Austinmer, is open and taking bookings now! Email [email protected] or call your Australian hosts Eliza and Jackson on ( +61) 0412183555 or 0434641540 Your rate starts at $315 AUD for 2 couples per night including welcome bottle of wine and breakfast hamper. (Sorry rate is higher for weekends and peak times)... It includes the private use of quiet, luxurious two bedroom bush facing chalet. There are 2 x queen beds, and one bathroom with shower facing into the bush. One bedroom upstairs in a quirky, low ceiling open loft style, one downstairs, both with luxury linens. Fully recycled this eco- guesthouse features rustic, upcycled kitchen but with new appliances and nespresso machine. Bathroom comes with beautiful amenities, shower gels, shampoo, conditioner and body lotions. Your stay comes with a sleep in, cook your own breakfast hamper of fresh eggs, fruit, bread, butter condiments, dairy and granola. Boom Box Mini bar Books Watercolours and paper WIFI (if you really can’t switch off...) Small children and pets, are not permitted sorry due to antique spiral staircase and lack of fencing in and around the property. There is no tv either, so bring your laptop if you need movies instead of books. The setting is rural and relaxing. The beach is a gorgeous 5 minute walk away, with both patrolled beaches, swimmable rockpools, and very quiet uninhabited beaches in walking distance both directions. There is the Sublime Point walk doable from the Chapel, the Wodi Wodi track, and in the Royal National Park the walk through Burning Palms to the Figure Eight Pool have to be one of the prettiest on the planet and are a short drive away. Walk past local donkeys to organic farm to table eatery Earthwalker or Mr &Mrs Smith cafes, or simply enjoy fish and chips on the beach. The local village of Thirroul is a five minute drive and has many cute shops and restaurants and bars. The bush is surrounding you with wallaby, rabbits, deer, birds, lots of Lyre birds and possums everywhere. We are located at Coledale, NSW Australia, the nearest train station is Coledale. The drive down from Sydney you should take the Princes Highway to Wollongong, but turn off at the Helensburgh exit, and drive on the divine coast road, Pacific Drive. That way you won’t miss the incredibly beautiful Sea Cliff Bridge. The chapel is freshly finished, some of the landscaping is still a bit raw. There is an adjacent 4 bedroom matching luxury house with dip pool being completed that will also be available to rent Sep 2018. Total offering will be 6 bedrooms for 14 people. For Enquiries about bookings don’t hesitate to touch base with us.
