Our family are all still safe, healthy and happily stuck on our front stoop in Brooklyn! Weather is warm and lovely now, just right for ice cream We cheer the protesters when they’ve marched by and welcome the decline in the pandemic stats. New York City is truly a unique place and continues to amaze and shock us. Yes, we are an Aussie family, currently living in NYC for work and running The Clubhouse in Hepburn Springs with our friends at @daylesford.getaways... but what has it really been like living in the epicentre of the 2020 pandemic? It’s tough. But in our very small bubble we haven’t seen much of what you’ve perhaps seen on the news. For over two months we rarely left our house a...nd if we did it was for a walk around the block or groceries. This trip to Prospect Park was like a dream! A perfectly warm spring day and with the greenest scenario and for us, it was a welcome break from Groundhog Day. A 7 year old at home with strange remote learning, a 2 year old with a vibrant and energetic personality... and two tired adults with little clues to make any plans. But we’re safe and healthy and one of us has job security for now.
