23.01.2022 Winter School Holiday Craft Packs We have made up some winter themed school holiday craft packs to help keep the kids entertained these school holidays. The pack includes Peg doll winter wonderland templates, a four seasons booklet, memory game, colour by numbers, fly eating frog and some fun masks. 17.01.2022 Pen Pals Project Earlier this year we put a call out to schools, child care centres and the community to join in our Pen Pals Project. This initiative was started to connect the younger residents of Logan with the elderly residents of Logan, to bring a little cheer and joy in this time of disconnect. Well, we have our first reply letters for some children who attend Sunny Faces Early Learning Centre. BUMP is a 25 week one on one mentoring program run on a Thursday morning at The Family Place. This program provides a safe, supportive group of mum's to share interests, meet new friends, set goals and is loads of FUN!! (Program starts in term 2)... 02.01.2022 Happy Naidoc Week. No physical events unfortunately but some amazing online stuff we'll share. The Family Place sits on Jagera land and we pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.

02.01.2022 **update v2** Weve made a decision to stay shut until at least the 24th August. Effective immediately The Family Place will be shut temporarily until clear information about the current COVID19 cases in Logan is available. To be clear we do not yet believe anyone infected or potentially contagious with COVID19 has come to The Family Place. We have chosen to shut out of an abundance of caution. This was a very difficult decision were very sorry, we want to do everything in our power to keep everyone safe. Stay tuned for updates as they come to hand. :(
