22.01.2022 Day 2 of 'The Pause' Isaiah 40:31 becomes even more real in times like these. As we have discussed this verse at church over the last few weeks we know God promises to exchange our lack for His abundance as we place all our attention on Him. Let's not miss this opportunity that has been gifted to us to keep watching, listening and serving God even from the comfort of our own homes. Don't forget the 3 promises God makes in this verse build in their importance. It's not most important that we soar on eagles wings but rather for us to know we can walk through anything and not give up because God is with us. Stay safe.

22.01.2022 Pop Kitchen is on at 5pm and we are ready to go. Hope to see you soon.

22.01.2022 Last Sundays message ready for your enjoyment, revision and application.

20.01.2022 Day 3 and the unexpected final day of 'The Pause' Good morning Church, At the moment everyday gives us new challenges and opportunities. Today we discovered that restrictions will be lifted sooner than expected and now we can meet together this Sunday. ... Taking into account we are still in the midst of a COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to move ahead with an abundance of caution, so we will only have one service this Sunday at 10am. Please respond to this text if you plan to attend as numbers are limited. Wearing a mask is strongly encouraged for those who attend. However, if you are in a vulnerable group, unwell in any way, or are awaiting a COVID-19 test result, please do not attend. We will be providing a livestream on Facebook to ensure we can all remain involved. These are unusual times but if we continue to do the right thing, we will be meeting together as normal before we know it. Remember, church doesn’t take place at a Sunday service, church is a community united in faith and connected through relationship. So call a friend, stay in touch and look after each other! Stay safe, The Church Leadership Team.

20.01.2022 Wherever you are at today, Jesus wants to exchange your burdens for his rest. His invitation is open to all.

12.01.2022 Hi Church! All your donations for the Pop Up hampers over the last couple of months have been such a big blessing to our community. Going forward we are aiming to make the staple items in each hamper more consistent. To do this we are asking that you please only donate things from this new list. We bought one of every item at Coles for just $11. If you can afford that with your weekly shop thats great or even just one or two things when you can will make a difference. We a...re giving away 70 hampers every Wednesday so each item adds up! You can drop off your donations Wednesdays or bring them with you to church on Sunday. Shopping List: *Pasta *Pasta Sauce *Long Life Milk 1ltr *Canned Soup *Baked Beans/Tin spaghetti *Breakfast Cereal

12.01.2022 Day 1 of 'The Pause' This is from David Burford and its well worth a read to help us get this 'pause' in perspective. Whenever I find myself in challenging circumstances, I humble myself by focussing on someone who has faced more challenging times. As I was faced with the prospect of 6 days of isolation in my flat, my thoughts turned toward what it would have been like for Anne Frank. Anne was a Dutch-German of Jewish background, famous for her diary which documents her life... in hiding from 1942-1944, during the German occupation of the Netherlands in WW11. Born in Germany, she moved to Amsterdam when the Nazi regime was in control of Germany. In July of 1942, her family went into hiding inside some concealed rooms behind a bookcase in the building in which her father worked. She stayed there until her family was found and arrested by the Gestapo in August of 1944. Following her arrest, her family was transported to a concentration camp. Sadly Anne passed away only a few months later at the age of 15. No doubt, during the 2 years she was in hiding, she did not have the liberty of Smartphones, movies, television, music, the internet, or access to Facebook. I think I can manage these 6 days of solitude. Most of all, those who have found themselves in isolation this week, can find peace in knowing that God will never let you walk alone in your darkest hour. He will journey with you until you see the light of your provision. God goes before you, He stands beside you and He walks behind you. Be confident, God is with you! See more
