The beautiful bar was handcrafted from the jarrah slats of the holding floor back in the days when we actually used the building for its original purpose. 12.01.2022 This little cottage has so many stories. We don't have an exact date for her construction, but the farm was founded in the 1870's and the cottage would have been an early build, so she is over a century old. We have done our best to restore her interior and are down to the final parts of her restoration now- the kitchen, bathroom and re-fixing her chimneys. She is such an important part of the farm (I don't know why she's a "she"... It just feels right) there has never been any question about keeping her standing. I can't wait to sit by a crackling fire in her little lounge and boil a pot of tea in her kitchen.
