I have had some amazing friends that also supported me through a violent relationship ... Im grateful to have a great circle of strong, supportive, genuine, caring and inspirational women that believe in me.... thank you to Lisa @lisaatkinsonphotographer and Meesha @meeshahaircreative for your nominations Im feel lucky to have you in my life.... I have seen this post going around a few days and wondered what it stood for when Simone from @honorandgraceinteriors did some research and this is her findings . The second image shows a young women of whom was brutally murdered her name is Pinar Gultekin her death sparked outrage across Turkey in 2019 ... Her remains were discovered on Tuesday.....She was brutally bashed and strangled by her spouse and thrown into a bin.... . . In Aust we have 1-2 women die from domestic violence each week murdered by their spouse, we need to change this behaviour and help our sisters..... . I must say we get so many compliments about our bins saying it makes the street happier, its something bright and colourful and a bit of fun, Ive even had some high profile designers love them.... . . The competition was inspired by my beautiful friend and awesome person Josie @sharejosie of whom we should all be grateful for as she has done so much for our community our local hero Australian of the year 2019 Mornington Peninsula Australia Day Citizen of the year... I was so proud to paint her bin as she wanted Sea Dragons a rare and local sea creature of whom is endangered. We also used the bin for an amazing photo shoot for @lisaatkinsonphotographer A creative incentive showcasing life during Covid 19 all dressed up and nowhere to go.... one of the pics shown with myself painting one of my bins with my son Archer of whom also featured in Josies short film winner Surf Mermaid . . 07.01.2022 FRIDAY // . . Today our little 7 year old has been unwell and has been for a few days... .... Its ok as yesterday he spent on the building site @greenbuildblairgowrie and today hes helping mum being a tape boy and stylist, colour consultant, and overall amazing helper The trade talk and basic skills this young boy is already experiencing is incredible he knows measurements he can hit a nail, knows different tools and why different drill bits and why different timbers and paints ,what a great mix to go onsite with his father a builder and his mum a artist person in the mix with VM experience,mural painter artist and signage fabricator hes learning so much and not to mention so proud to make a cubby // now called a base as cubby is uncool and watching farmagedon with my little legend helper

Ive been painting allot so much so Ive taken over the Man/ Boy cave, our lounge and my studio.. I love that tribe love the faults and quirks of a hand painted work, the extra thickness of a stroke thats not perfect, the extra layer in one area, the s may not be perfect... I learnt it typography it took me 10 years to learn a font and now its so easy but its coming... back people love that you draw, you paint, your experience, your creativity your passion and your existence means when you buy something hand painted or with love its special your are apart of that journey and that life experience so appreciate it and enjoy it... thanks to @paulkennedywriter Ove been keeping low profile with the commission art and still be for a few reasons but so happy to be painting my poster art of 70 legendary icons of my time....
