24.01.2022 Hi residents. You may have been aware that we started our Tuesday Group Fitness class back a few weeks ago. Well.... Starting this week our 2nd Group Fitness class and Yoga are starting back too!! Yay!!... FREE trial class for any newbies! Come on down and see what its all about.

23.01.2022 Hi Residents We know a lot of you have been struggling to get here within management hours since we reopened in June and we want as much as you do to be able to go back to normal hours. Due to the strict contact tracing requirements at the moment we have started to trial this sign in/out register. We ask that EVERY person who comes to the Centre signs in AND out. Over the next week we will be monitoring this and if everyone can do this we will be on our way to getting back... open normal hours. On another postive note we have been able to reopen the showers and the doors from the pool to toilets so if you are swimming you can go straight through to the shower without coming back into the main foyer Lets keep working together, do the right thing and get the Centre back to full hours!!

23.01.2022 To The Surrounds Residents, The Leisure Centre Management Team will be enforcing an indefinite closure to The Leisure Centre effective as of 12 noon today, as per the direction from our Federal Government. This is inclusive of all Classes, Services and Functions that have been previously supported or scheduled at the Centre. As it stands, all current memberships will be paused and your two year complimentary period will resume when the Centre reopens. We don't want any left overs this year so any uncollected buckets after that time will be offered to the residents who missed out on registrations. See you soon!... 18.01.2022 Its been so great having company back at the Centre this week! I love seeing so many of you back in the gym and even some in the pool! I am also super excited to tell you that my group fitness class is starting back next Tuesday 16th June, 6 - 6:45pm. At this stage its just my class however yoga and Mitchs group fitness class will be back at the start of term 3 (mid July) So here are a few things you need to know if you are wanting to come along;... - Book in prior to Tuesday at reception by either phone, email or in person of course. - Max 10 people in our function room space. - Bring your own mat/towel. If you havent purchased a training pack prior to now dont worry, we will sort that one when you attend cant wait!!!!!! Brodi

At this first stage we will be remaining closed but as soon as we are confirmed to open we will let you all know. Onsite Management are looking forward to seeing all your faces back at Centre real soon!

16.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce the Leisure Centre will once again open its doors to the community this Wednesday 10th June, 7am 12pm! During the initial phase of re-opening the facility, we will be implementing strict COVID safe guidelines to ensure the safety of the community and staff. The opening hours of the centre will therefore only be during staffed hours and will be as follows; ... Leisure Centre Opening Hours: Monday 7am 12pm Tuesday 2pm 7pm Wednesday 7am 5pm (Closing at 12pm June 10th only) Thursday 2pm 7pm Friday 7am 12pm Saturday 8am -12pm Sunday 8am 12pm We expect these opening hours to be a temporary measure as restrictions look to be eased further in the coming weeks. We will be sending an email to all members tomorrow with full details. Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

14.01.2022 Our cafe to pool gate is functional again!! We please ask that when using the gate you close it gently instead of just letting it go to close itself and banging. Also, be aware this door will lock automatically at 8pm when the pool closes.

01.01.2022 Resident Update // Leisure Centre Operations The Queensland Government have now commenced Stage 2 of their roadmap to easing of community and business restrictions. Following this announcement last night, the Leisure Centre Management team and Villawood are currently working on a transition plan to safely re-open the Centre for residents use. We anticipate to have formal communication out this week, which will provide in detail the Leisure Centre COVID-19 usage guidelines.... Any queries in the meantime please contact the Leisure Centre Management team or The Surrounds Sales Centre.
