19.01.2022 This is the second beautiful bloom from my rose plant. Just as gorgeous as the first. I didn’t think it’d give another flower so soon but it just goes to show you that when old heads wither away new life blossoms. #unpacking
14.01.2022 This morning I got up and got into the garden before work. I needed to restore order to the beginnings of what would quickly become a rambled mess. Even though I tend my garden daily there was still deeper work to do. Under the canopy deadwood lurked, amongst the green tiny tomatoes lay masses of dried branches that had been hidden by the vigorous and bushy foliage. The vines were strangling the fruit shoots. This demonstrates something I’d like you to consider. ... Even if you feel like you work on your business every so often you have to take a look under the canopy and chop out the deadwood to allow the fruit to blossom. Then water it, fertilise it and watch it spring back into full bloom. It’s a cracking business metaphor. Use it. #unpackingbusiness #growth #deadwood #sustainableliving #businessacceleration
14.01.2022 In May 2019 I launched my first book - Unpacking, it is a story about my life and the life lessons I have learnt to date. Throughout the book, I left a little thinking space for you to write some of your own thoughts down so you can see if you have had a comparable experience and if my experiences help you to unpack your life. It struck a chord with a lot of people. But, it occurred to me that perhaps my cover didn't really describe what the book was about to someone who was... not me... So I redesigned it. I have been fortunate enough to have had a heap of people who were kind enough to write reviews and send me beautiful emails detailing their synergy with the stories - I added some of those comments to the back cover too. So now Im much happier with it and Im hoping it will start a second wave of "unpacking" to begin. So if you read it and loved it - share this post. 02.01.2022 And the produce keeps on coming. This years carrot yield has been fabulous. The nitrogen rich soil in my veggie patch has helped them to get nice and thick and flavoursome. See it’s more about what work you put in before sow your seeds that matters. Then you plant, water, weed and repeat.
