25.01.2022 We are allowing dine in customers again from today! With social distancing regulations we are only able to run at 1/4 of our regular capacity, so we’ll be initially WALK INS ONLY & won’t be taking reservations at this time. A big test this week to see what that looks like. We are excited to welcome those lucky peeps who get their bums on seats! Fingers crossed the easing of restrictions will continue over the coming weeks and we will be able to hold more then the allowed 20 p...atrons we can presently. At least it’s a start! And it times perfectly so you can dine with us in comfort for our Monday Roast Night! Beef sirloin tonight w/ pea purée, brassicas, crisp potatoes & horseradish gravy. 24.01.2022 We at Bat Country are very proud in the efforts that we've made to survive these times of late, and we are humbly grateful for the support and patronage that all of our regular customers have shown us! Thank you. We are monitoring the relaxing of restrictions very closely and we won't be "jumping the gun" this coming Friday to try and allow 10 people back in as dine in customers. Given our recent shift in service and our business model, the logistics to allow a restricted num...ber of customers to dine in are unfortunately too much to make work for such a small number. We will continue the next few weeks trading as take away and delivery only. We will use this time to get our new seasonal drink and food menus finalised and in place ready for when we re-open. We'll look to partially re-open our dine in service at stage 2 of the restrictions being lifted, when we then would be allowed to invite 20 patrons into our restaurant at any one time. We are excited at this prospect, and really look forward to having our loyal customers back in house to indulge on the new winter offerings! See more

07.01.2022 After a more refined physical measuring of our dining foot print in Bat Country it turns out legally we are only allowed 15 seated (only) customers at any one time, not the 20 as first thought. This is to allow the social distancing of 4 square metres per person within our venue. This is the law & restrictions that are in place for your safety and that of our staff. We please ask you for your patience when coming to visit us & complete our required log book upon being given... entry. Please wait at the door to be greeted, do not walk into the venue until you have been invited. Upon being invited in you must record your name & email or phone number in the log book. You will then be allocated a seat within safe distancing from other patrons where it is table service for your stay. Please do not try and order at the bar. This is not allowed in these times. We are also putting a 90 minute time limit on tables to keep things rolling in an attempt to give as many of our loyal customers a taste of being back inside Bat Country with us!
