We also installed a Finbrella, wind stable umbrella to the deck so our clients could get some much needed shade in the coming months! 16.01.2022 Fijian Mahogany Bench Seats, Perth W.A This week Premier Hardwood Decking have been busy installing two large Mahogany Bench seats. We firstly removed the paving and added new concrete footings under the paving. Bedded the paving on top of the footing with cement, then constructed the pillars and apply render for a neat contemporary look. We also installed LED lighting to the underside of the seats to provide a resort feel in the evening.... The Hardwood used is plantation FSC certified Fijian Mahogany, extremely durable and stable, high in natural oil content making it Perfectly suited to Perth`s Climate. 12.01.2022 BEFORE and AFTER Research the rest....decide on the best! Millboard Decking... This week Premier Hardwood Decking have been very busy installing two Millboard Decks in Perth. The first one was situated in Perths southern suburb of Canning Vale using Vintage Weathered Oak. Unfortunately our client had previously installed an inferior wood/plastic composite decking board, which over time has not lived up to the manufactures promises and the distributors sales pitch. Our clients were left searching for an modern alternative decking board to replace the disappointing wood/plastic composite originally installed. They wanted a different product that would eradicate mold and DE-lamination issues associated with wood/plastic composite decking boards. As we are frequently finding, our clients have really done their homework regarding low maintenance Decking Options on the market today as we understand it is an investment for the future. So many wood/plastic composites have issues with mold spots, scratching and fading, due to their wood/flour mix. We are continually being asked to replace low grade composites with Millboard Decking. Because Millboard decks contain no timber, there are no sugars to host mould or algae!
