The Wire is an Australia Wide Current Affairs program that highlights hot political topics. The Government should stop doing things TO Aboriginal & Torres Strait Communities and start doing things WITH Aboriginal & Torres Strait Communities this will bear much more success. The basics card system has now been entrenched in NT communities. They are used to managing their money this way. There is no need to introduce another (more expensive) system. Regardless, there should always be a choice for each and every person.
