24.01.2022 Hello friends! If you’re gearing up for a long weekend Spring Clean, here’s how you can donate to help Project School Formal! Please deliver any of the following in a closed bag to Jazzy Lane Hair Studio, Duggan Street (during business hours). Thanks bunches #projectschoolformal #formals #graduation #formalwear #donate

23.01.2022 We often talk about the generous donors who make Project School Formal possible. A change room space is essential of course when students are coming for formal gown fittings. The curtains for our Australia Arcade pop-up shop change rooms have been donated with much love from Toowoomba Women’s Shed. Thank you Gene for personally sewing these curtains ‘in record time’. Please like this group on Facebook. You will be astounded by their charitable works. #projectshoolformal #formal #graduation #notforprofit #donors #donations #volunteers #toowoombawomen’sshed

18.01.2022 The pressure that some students feel around their School Formal can be crippling...this can be for many reasons. As I was reminded by a student today life can be really tough. Again; for many reasons. And, if it is; we don’t need to know the ins and outs but we’d sure like to help you celebrate the end of your school journey by providing your formal outfit free of charge. Our pop-up shop is in the Australia Arcade in Duggan Street Toowoomba. No walk-ins, appointments onl...y. Just message us to make a time. Guys & girls! We will also transport in bulk to schools or communities in need outside of the Toowoomba area. #formalwear #formals #nojudgementzone #projectschoolformal #toowoomba

18.01.2022 Imagine a circle made up of over 1000 people and all of those people are wishing you well and cheering you on into the next chapter of your life after school. That’s exactly what it’s like when you step into the Project School Formal pop-up shop in the Australia Arcade Toowoomba. All these dresses and suits, and shoes and jewellery represent a person in that circle of a thousand. They’re not things on a rack, they’re hearts and smiles and hands clapping, congratulating you ...and cheering you on. Year 12’s, you’re old enough to know, life, growing up, family, friends, School, the world can be hard...we’re saying, getting an outfit for your School Formal doesn’t have to be. We’re here not to judge you or your circumstances but to cheer you on. To make a booking for a formal outfit, please PM us. #projectschoolformal #formal #graduation #generosity #outfitsreadytogo #year12 #cheeringyouon #toowoomba

11.01.2022 Throughout her distinguished career Wendy Louise Diggles has been asked to make headpieces, jewellery and crowns for theatre, film and fashion. As an award winning Milliner of the highest standard last year she was invited to Hat Week’s World Garden exhibition in London. We know her as the beautiful donor who has gifted the most gorgeous array of jewellery and head pieces to Project School Formal. Just stunning! Thank you Wendy. Here’s a small sample in photos. Every student deserves a fairytale moment, every one. This is our last week for appointments. We close Nov 14! We will also send boxes of formalwear to schools (all week) this week. 08.01.2022 A few deserving beautiful words to our gorgeous fearless leader Kim Stokes Do you ever have a moment when your heart and your mind are so incredibly full of love and gratitude that you struggle to find the right words to carry the true weight of how much appreciation you feel? When every time you start to say how much they mean but you start to get teary?... Well, hopefully the following will come close. It has taken a constellation of support to make Project School Formal possible and through the darkness that has been cast over 2020 one beautiful soul, Kim Stokes, has been the guiding star that has seen PSF not only go ahead but to be a resounding success. Kim has invested countless hours and immeasurable care in navigating the Project this year. I won't go into all the infinite details but this is a huge undertaking to coordinate and execute. Kim's incredible capacity to truely care has shown through in all her work with us this year. The personal messages with students, parents, schools, volunteers, businesses, community groups (the list goes on) have been professional, personal, positive, thoughtful and meaningful. Kim, there will never be enough of the right words to say thank you, but from the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of all the kids that were able to have a magical formal because of your generous spirit, thank you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful soul with all of us. Thank you for helping us to shine a light on the gorgeous graduates of 2020. Thank you for embracing our vision, because every child truely deserves to shine bright and celebrate their achievements with a magical formal.
