24.01.2022 Do you live on the coast ? If your close to the coast , there are higher standards as there is salt in the air! These Gates were installed in the last week on November. Already they have a nice crystal type coating on them. We have our coastal Aluminium Gates manufactured in Maddington,... Australian Galvanised posts that are heavy wall and Powder Coated in Wangarra. It takes a bit of time but with this amount of salt its absolutely necessary. See more

24.01.2022 Today we popped a fence in for a 81 year old gent who loves his Getalton Wax. What a coincidence we love Geraldton Wax as well , now we do anyway, to make things a bit more of a challenge, its on a limestone wall and had 2 rows of plinths . No Trees were harmed again.

21.01.2022 Oh Dear , A few weeks ago I had no idea what a Meniscus was . Now I have a very close relationship with this horrible little bit of tissue. I have a fairly descent tear in the middle , very uncomfortable to say the least , a couple of orbiting satellites floating in there as well. Having Surgery this Wednesday:-( ... We are still ticking over and have installations being taken care of . My sincere apologies for late responses & missed calls. With the Winter storms we have been inundated with enquires. We will slow down for a few weeks but being over 55 cant be out for long as this is my Way of staying in the workforce. If Ive not got back to you My apologies, always happy to help advise in any way Will be at full speed 4 weeks ! Like all Boomers were machines. Sincerely Wayne

21.01.2022 Always tricky when you want a different colour ! Practical fix is Use a quality paint on sheets ,posts & Rails . Find exact lattice and laminate . This looks pretty good we think !

20.01.2022 Having to isolate is as boring as life gets , thank god for weekends, particularly long ones ! Ive been painting my dearest Wifes office (out of hours of course ). 15.01.2022 LOCKDOWN LETTER FROM MY DOG... Dear hoomans, I have noticed over the past couple of weeks you have been staying in my home for extended periods of time. It is lovely having you here but I feel I should set a few ground rules. I would appreciate it if you would follow the rules whilst you are staying with me.... 1. When you do pop out you will need to take me with you. 2. You seem to be eating lots of nice goodies whilst lazing about the house. I am entitled to a share of these. I wont make a fuss I will just sit in front of you and quietly stare at you until I get my quota. 3. Dont call me for another bath, I am clean now. Just because you are bored doesnt mean I need a wash or haircut. I suggest you go clean the metal box on wheels outside again. Daddy human has done that a few times now even though it hasnt moved in weeks. 4. As you are here constantly at the moment, it is your duty to let me out as often as I require. That means that even if I have just come in and want to go out again you should let me. Sometimes I miss a spot whilst sniffing about and I need to recheck. 5. When I am asleep, leave me sleeping, this isnt a cue for the little humans to play with me. I can also sleep where I like, I dont expect to be woken so you can move me. 6. Do not shhhh me when I am barking. As you are here more, my job of protecting you has increased. I have to listen out for every little noise and inform you of it in case its a threat. 7. Dont leave a room without me, I know how sneaky you guys can be. Just the other day I am sure I heard a crisp packet being opened upstairs and no one called me to share. So from now on I will be following you about. 8. This is a very important rule. If it lands on the floor its MINE, if its in my mouth its MINE. 9. You will never pee alone again, you watch me pee so I do not understand why you shut me out and close the loo door when you pee. 10. 14.01.2022 COVID 19 Update Retro was set up to keep me employed after 50 , Being a Tradesman I love to work, and the support from everyone has been amazing, This situation is heartbreaking,... But its not forever . As I need to isolate due to a family member being immune comprised, we are still doing low risk jobs . Where there is clear access, Open areas and little or distant interaction with others we, are still doing installs . Advice is always free should you like to DIY. We are doing only a few jobs a months , enough to keep the Wolf away from the door. Happy to do virtual Quotes . Stay safe , keep distancing . 13.01.2022 Happy Friday Knee Surgery Update . well things were going amazing, straight after procedure I walked out of Hospital . no pain relief not even a Panadol for 3 Days i was feeling amazing.... then a infection from the procedure was getting a good old at 7 days post op i was in a fair amount of trouble. luckily I have a awesome G.P. who was onto it quick a cyst 50 mm x38xmm x 27 mm had formed . were thru it now look to be back installing from Aug 10 . The booking sheets are filling but we have plenty of room for more. Thanks for your Patience and nice messages . Feeling 18 Again!!! cheers Wayne
