07.01.2022 Interesting read as reported by the Financial Review this month: The cost of leasing office space in Sydney has surged in the past 12 months 8.7 per cent for A-grade rent in the CBD and two separate tenants, both in Chifley Tower, recently signed on to leases with record-setting prices, with property investment management company Centuria agreeing to $1775 per square metre (net) for 1400 sq m on level 41 and China Mobile paying slightly more at $1795 per sq m for the level above.

But most commentators agree that developed economies, like Australia, need to make urgent changes, particularly in the education sector, to take advantage of these opportunities and to upskill and ‘future-proof’ Australian workers.
