20.01.2022 Last week’s flooding impacted our storage sheds Sunday is going to be a nice sunny day, perfect for the shed clean up. We will be there around 9am and any available members are welcome to come down and help with clean-up. Its going to get very wet and muddy so gloves and gumboots will be good.... If you have any of the following please also bring them along: Outdoor Brooms Hoses/Pressure washers & attachments Outdoor brushes for scrubbing Cloths for wiping down tables etc Wide mouth shovels Trailers -We are able to put things on the nature strip for council collection but cardboard or steel we can drop off. As always, many hands make light work so the more helpers we get - the quicker the job gets done Thank you TLAC Committee

15.01.2022 It’s on again! For those around in January we have our annual Inter Centre Round with Moe Little Athletics and Warragul Little Athletics. This is a great chance to mix with other Centres and get some athletics in while our Centre is still on Christmas break. It’s open to all our athletes - nothing to do, just put your uniform on, head over on the 16th and enjoy some friendly competition with 2 other Gippsland Centres. Pop it in your diary now so you don’t miss it, it’s the silly season after all

Please arrive at 9:30... am tomorrow, and if you would like to walk the course, a tad earlier. The course should be okay with Moe not sustaining much harm from the week's rains. See you all tomorrow. Little Athletics Victoria is advising all its affiliate...d Centres to cease all Little Athletics-related activities, thus bringing the 19/20 track & field season to an early close. This would apply to training, Centre competition, Centre Championships events, Open Days etc. Centres should give consideration to delaying proceeding with Presentation Days to a more suitable date. 05.01.2022 Earlier today, the Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews, released a statement announcing that regional communities would proceed to the Third Step of the re-open...ing roadmap, effective from 11.59pm on 16th September. In a positive development for the commencement of the 20/21 season for our sport, the statement, in part, reads: Outdoor contact and non-contact sport will begin for regional Victorians aged 18 and under, as well as outdoor non-contact sport for adults, with gathering and density limits. In its announcements on Sunday 6th September, the State Government foreshadowed this development as part of the roadmap for Step 3. Unlike the hard dates set out for metropolitan Melbourne, the steps to re-opening for regional Victoria will continue to be determined by infection rates. At this stage, there is no further information available regarding the conditions and restrictions under which our sport can commence.
