At TDG, we choose to use this time to rethink travel through partnership and innovation. Our director, Robert Nangle, was recently featured in an article on Amadeus. He spoke about contactless travel, how we could prepare our business, clients and our people for travelling in the future including collaborating with Amadeus to explore new possibiliti...es to service customers by presenting them with the best flight and hotel choices within seconds. Know a local SME Australian business who does corporate travels domestic or international? Share this article or our contact with them. 05.01.2022 Qantas said goodbye to The Queen of the Skies as the last jumbo jet in their fleet departed Australia for the final time. The Boeing 747 flight QF7474 departed Sydney bound for the Mojave Desert in the United States. The jumbo jet left in style, drawing out a kangaroo in the sky, to the delight of plane spotters who had gathered to watch the event. There were plenty of tears at the farewell ceremony where Qantas employees, past and present, bid a fitting farewell to the jum...bo. Qantas CEO, Alan Joyce said an emotional goodbye to the 747 fleet "Its brought the Queen in, its brought the Pope in, its been there for every Olympics team since the 1984 Olympics," he said. "Its a bittersweet moment this aircraft has changed world aviation, Australian aviation and Qantas," Mr Joyce said. 05.01.2022 Now more than ever, travellers are looking to their travel agents to manage travel disruption. While we have assisted many of our clients to return safely, we are now helping to manage upcoming business and group trip bookings later in the year and into 2021 in the hope travel will commence again soon. In this fast-changing situation, having updated information at our fingertips for clients is crucial. Many travel providers, including airlines, hotels, car rental companies, ...cruise lines, tour operators, and rail operators, are regularly updating their policies during the COVID-19 situation. To help our customers save time and provide efficient support, our team is continually updating ourselves with information from our key partner Amadeus (one of the top travel technology companies that connect the travel ecosystem internationally). So we can provide quick answers to questions travellers have during this time, including information about ticket refunds, exchanges, and validations. Where possible we would proceed with changes automatically with Amadeus Ticket Changer and if explicitly requested by an airline. For more information, please contact our Travel Manager to receive the information relevant to your booking. #businesstravel #grouptravel #traveltechnology #customerservice #positivebydesign #traveldesigngroup See more
