24.01.2022 Tue 6 June 54km Stilton to Ely Cold and shitting rain but the 70km/hr westerly helped us along. It was a tad dangerous along the short stretches of secondary highway we had to ride due to buffeting and spray from passing trucks. Wed 7 June... 35km Ely to Cambridge South across the fens (marshy region) along dykes and very exposed to the howling SW wind that pushed us along yesterday. Nice route on a very average day. Thurs 8 June Cambridge Lots of polling day guff! We walked the streets and were surrounded by history and tradition at every turn. I was walking along and an apple fell from a tree and hit me in the head. Why? Add this city to your itinerary. Three more days and we arrive at our final destination - London :)

20.01.2022 The Cricketers Pub is owned by Jamie Oliver's parents, and is where he made his start. We had a lovely lunch stop on our way to Bishop's Stortford.

16.01.2022 WE MADE IT TO LONDON The end of a great adventure. In total we peddled 6,413.3 kilometres through 15 countries. More trip stats and TREADLIE awards coming...... Sun 11th June 54km Lee Valley Camping to Putney (via Greenwich and Westminster Bridge)

09.01.2022 Getting close to the end! Fri 9 June 46.7km Cambridge to Bishop's Stortford A slightly hilly route that took us through some lovely little villages and postcard perfect countryside.... Sat 10 June 38.6km Bishop's Stortford to Lee Valley Camping An easy day that followed canals for the majority of the time. It was like being back in the Netherlands. London tomorrow. Going via Greenwich to make sure our watches are set right.

07.01.2022 Cloudy and wet today but the monster tail wind made for fast travel! We passed a few poor bastards going in the opposite direction.
