25.01.2022 With things getting slowly back to normal around the place, I have been hard at work at City Of Brisbane. The whole main berm has been "deleaded" and re-profiled. Thanks to club member Neil Gooden (from GoodEarthworks) for all the equipment and expertise. No he would n't let me drive.

21.01.2022 Double Alpha continue to come up with cool stuff to make our lives easier. First up we have magnet covers, so for $17.00 you can stop sticking to everything metal on the range, the small catch is you need to remember to remove them before the timer goes beep. Secondly the is the new magnetic grip Ear muff holder, it slides onto your belt and is just a matter of slide and release and your muffs are secure and out of the way and your hands are free to patch, score or drink coff...ee. $15.00 a set. Both are now in stock with more orders already in the air.

21.01.2022 Trigger has the newly released Double Alpha patching dispensers in stock. They come in 3 colours and clip onto you belts for easy access, light to carry and easy to use. Only $25.00 each I am also carry the rolls of patches, only $4.95 per 1000. Waterproof patches are also available for those of us in the Southern States. (No need in the Sunshine State ATM- not a sign of any rain)

Luckily Trigger Imports is still here sending you messages to keep you entertained. I just got my first order of the new Double Alpha Xi mag pouches. These are the latest development from Saul and his team.... They have essentially taken the Alpha X pouch range, taken all the feedback onboard, done tonnes of testing and reworked the design to make the new flagship line. Still available with the 8 colour options of inserts and even better the price of the Xi is the same as the Alpha X pouches. 20.01.2022 Hi everyone, A long time no see, hear or talk for most of us, what a joy Covid 19 has brought to our lives. But hopefully things are starting to get back to normal where you are. I have just had my first order from Double Alpha arrive since all this crazy stuff began, I wasn't sure that I was even going to receive it. So lots of items to top up my existing stock levels and some to fill the gaps.... Its not all good though, it was a 30 percent surcharge on the freight and an abysmal exchange rate, both have resulted in about a 10 percent increase in landed price across the board. Some of this I can absorb, some I will have to pass on. I wont be changing all the prices on my online shop as I hope the price hike is only temporary. But if you buy something I may respond with its going to cost you a little more than usual. My apologies in advance. Its revolutionary design will drastically cut down the amount of time that you spend sorting primers into your primer tubes. 17.01.2022 Some weeks are just, well a challenge! Check out the photo. This is for my latest order from Double Alpha, a lot of you are waiting on awesome shooting stuff that is in these boxes. Not only has Netherlands National Post screwed up the address, but somehow the order disappeared off the radar (insert- was lost) for 14 days. It was only after some harshly worded emails that it was "found" again. I live in hope that it may eventually turn up. Have a great weekend everyone, try to get out and put some rounds down range.

15.01.2022 After 2 years in the shop in Capalaba. I have decided that it doesn't make sense to pay rent on a shopfront when the majority of the sales are either online or dropoffs at the club or at matches. Also why when I now have a big ass shed in the back yard. So Trigger Imports is on the move all of 2 km up the road. (Actually closer to the Belmont complex)... First up working out the floorplan and layout, then emptying all the shelves and loading everything and dragging it all up the road. I am looking forward to a fun weekend.

15.01.2022 As part of the renovations at City of Brisbane, we also broke up all the excess cement blocks under the target frames. quite a few hours on the paving breaker spent there. And to finish it off all new timber on the target frames, looking sexy as now and so much cleaner. I look forward to seeing everyone back at the club, it was very quiet there for awhile.... Range 11 is in for the same treatment in the next week or two.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone- I hope that you are all safely locked down and making the best of the enforced holiday. Even though the Ranges and clubs are closed you can still be super productive. Jobs to tackle:... 1. unpack, clean out and repack your range bag (get rid of all the accumulated crap, dead patches and cracked brass.)(Steve Hoy I am looking at you here) 2. wash, sort and prep all your brass. 3. strip, clean and service your press, while you are at it, go through all your powder, primers and other assorted bits under the reloading bench and toss the junk - who ever has time to do that? 4. do some light reading and brush up on your IPSC rule book 5, finally when everything is spick and span do some dry fire and some drills so when you get back to the club you are ready to go - pew pew. As always Trigger Imports is open anytime by appointment, we are open to the weather so lots of UV to kill off the evil Virus, and one at a time so no coughing or sneezing from the masses.

11.01.2022 What a massive weekend at City of Brisbane, extremely hot weather and lots of hot shooting. The stage designer has either totally lost the plot or is a genius, not for me to decide? Lots of tropical themed stages that told a story from being lost at sea to eventually ending up in paradise. I was there with Trigger Imports but also had to split my focus by manning the kitchen, over 150 burgers with the lot and fries, each made to order came out of the kitchen over the weekend- single handedly I might add.

The middle one is technically a Netherlands colour scheme (where Double Alpha is based for those who didn't now) Could certainly double as an Oz, or Brit, or Kiwi.... 07.01.2022 Hi everyone, well we have gotten through another working week, hopefully you will all get some range time this weekend. I have another Double Alpha order in transit with some of the new products that have been recently released. The new Talon Backpack is the less expensive option to the long time favourite Double Alpha range. I havent seen one in the flesh yet so will let you know how it stacks up once I get the chance. Looking at a Retail price of $199.00... The Racer X holster is new in the holster product line up and utilises the hugely popular Alpha X platform but like the previous model Racer is not interchangeable for various types of firearms. And finally Double Alpha has released it own grip enhancer, appropriately named Gripz. It also fits into the next magnetic pro grip holder. 01.01.2022 A big week coming up with the Queensland State Titles on at Raglan and unfortunately the last hit out for some of the Brisbane crew was to be the Grand Slam at North Arm on Sunday, but the weather gods have turned their backs on North Arm again. Last I heard they were looking at some aquatic activities on the ranges instead of shooting. Unfortunately Trigger Wont be able to go to Raglan. We are sponsoring the event though and will have some great product prizes to give away o...ver the weekend. I do have my trusty courier, Steve Hoy from Tiger Shark Projectiles coming up. So if you require any product delivered to the comp, just give me a shout and I can get it organised the same goes for Tiger Shark products. 01.01.2022 Trigger Imports has just spent the weekend at Brisvegas held at the CIty Of Brisbane Pistol Club. 3 full days of action packed stages with tonnes of Las Vegas style props and atmosphere. It also saw the 1st match to be shot on the brand new and just reopened Range 9, this range has been dormant since around the 2011 mark. Well done everyone that was involved.
