25.01.2022 This model originated in 1990 and was designed for Danny Wills, Guy Walker and a bunch of other pro surfers. The idea was to make a shorter, slightly wider performance board that made dynamic surfing easier in everyday conditions. This model was arguably the first ever hybrid shortboard, and now its back with some adjustments to the design and volumes to better suit a wider range of surfers. The rails are a bit lower, the width and thickness are also refined. However the larger sizes are very much geared to the all rounder and boast widths above 32 inches and more volume throughout the shape. Jason explains this as a family orientated decision and focuse...d on the time he spends at the beach with his family and considers these sizes as boards anyone can paddle or surf.
