15.01.2022 Spring is here which means the cold wintery mornings are behind us. Unfortunately this also means the likely return of something suffered by many of us; hay fever. Hay fever can be a nuisance, and can be particularly difficult for those with asthma. There are ways to effectively treat your hay fever symptoms, to clear up your sneezing, blocked nose and itchy eyes. In the meantime here are some things you can do to reduce your hay fever symptoms:... Reduce your exposure to dust, animals and animal hair or fur (dander) Avoid activities known to cause exposure to pollen, such as mowing grass Use re-circulated air in the car when pollen levels are high Wear sunglasses (reduces amount of pollen that gets into eyes) Dry bedding and clothing inside or in a tumble dryer Visit your GP to find out how you can tackle hay fever this spring.

01.01.2022 Information from Asthma Australia Do you know your level of asthma control? As part of good asthma management, it is important to know your current level of asthma control. It is often referred to as your Asthma Score. Your Asthma Score is an important tool that your doctor uses to determine whether your treatment is effective. If your control is not optimal, your doctor will discuss with you the changes required to try to improve it. If your control is good, you’re winning, ...so that is an encouraging sign to keep doing what you’re doing. Asthma Australia has a free Asthma Control Test you can take. It only takes a few minutes online and you can take this to your doctor for an Asthma Review. Here's the link: https://bit.ly/3gPjKCS Source: Asthma Australia
