25.01.2022 One thing we love about our exams is just how easy they are to order. You select what you are after, add to your cart and we do the rest. We generate your invoice that day and we have a range of ways payment can be processed. Its an add to cart kind of day!

25.01.2022 A person without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots. Ancient History has always fascinated us and we continue to be moved by the wonders of this subject. We are so proud to have this subject on offer. What do you remember about your studies of Ancient History?

25.01.2022 Dance like no ones watching! Because chances are at the moment theyre not! Weve been incorporating dance into many things from cleaning to cooking and just general moving around the house! We are totally grooving at having Dance on board for another one of our subjects in our examination packages Do you have a favourite song that you just cant help but drop everything and start dancing?

25.01.2022 We believe our examination packages will provide that little piece of magic for you and your students. They wont make your workload disappear but they will make the process easier! As they feature all the important things! Interchangeable answers, structure to emulate the HSC, sample answers and post examination activities!

24.01.2022 Lead by example. One of our favourite sayings. As Head Teachers ourselves, we have never asked our staff to do something that we wouldnt be prepared to do ourselves. Our examinations aim to set the bar, for what we are and what we stand for.

23.01.2022 Our year 12 students need us more than ever. This year has challenged us on so many levels. Our post examination activities aim to guide your teachers and students through the post examination experience, like a light guiding them home. To quote a favourite song of ours "Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones, and I will try and fix you" Coldplay.

23.01.2022 How have you managed to keep your students focussed and on task to study? Do you assist them from the beginning of the course? Does your school provide them with study skills?

23.01.2022 Two Teach. Did you know that our name and brand represents exactly that. Two Teachers. We thought this summed us up and what we wanted to convey really well. We complement one another in every component of this process. Not just an amazing friend, now an incredible business partner.

22.01.2022 HSC Exams are going ahead. Whilst the way in which some of our practical subjects will be marked has changed, one thing remains the same - the written examination. How will you prepare your students this year? They have lost so much time - lets focus on what they can gain. What better way to prepare them then with an examination pack that focuses on all aspects of the exam.

22.01.2022 One thing we are addicted to here is routine. We miss it when were on holidays - well some components! And we crave it in our personal life! How do you help your students to establish positive study routines? We believe in the power of... A study timetable - allocate the things you want to do and dont want to miss out on (walks, work and catch ups with friends) A designated area - your zone, fit with inspirational quotes and a nice outlook No distractions (that includes your phone - did you know it takes 15 minutes for your brain to engage after youve touched your phone?) Stationery - this is a big one! Im talking post it notes, highlighters and a favourite pen! See more

21.01.2022 Another point of difference in our examination packs is our student feedback. We want our students to walk away from having completed one of our exams with more than just a mark. We want to foster self reflection which we believe will enable growth. Embedded with post examination strategies, we enable your students to put your feedback into practice.

21.01.2022 Student intervention - we see this as one of the most important aspects of our job and especially when nurturing our senior students through their HSC. With changes to NESA and restrictions with capped summative assessment tasks, how do you embed student intervention? I have started a homework book this year with my senior class. Mum and I sat around the table like we did when I was at school and she covered the books for my class. They were moved when I told them the story a...nd they have had a sense of pride when handing in their work to me weekly. As too have I. I have been modelling, scaffolding and demonstrating examination techniques in their writing. Focussing on student accountability and building their capacity in structuring their answers. It’s been so nice to see them apply the feedback they have been given. Even nicer to see them ask each week for their results back. See more

21.01.2022 Everything seems to have moved online. Our ordering form has been there from day one. Head to: https://www.twoteach.com.au/order-form To see how easy it is!... Almost as easy as our exams are to use

20.01.2022 This word has been at the tip of many of our days. It has been a word that our students have expressed to us as well. As things start to resume to some form of normality, we are hoping that this word has been replaced and youre starting to feel whole again. We know that the buzz in the corridors at school is instilling this in us!... We may at times, stand alone, but we are in this together How are you feeling?

19.01.2022 What happens for you when you hand back your exams to your students? Have you thought about this as a process? As an opportunity for student growth. To identify areas of improvement? We take the information and feedback from the marking centre and have built post examination activities to help your students help themselves. ... Think technical language, length of response and interpretation of NESA key terms.

19.01.2022 Whilst remote learning saw us reinvent our classrooms - we became stars of our very own cooking shows! We we were finally able to say that line we have always wanted to say Heres something we prepared earlier! It is so nice to be back in the classroom. Have things gone back to normality for you? What aspects of your classroom have changed for good?

19.01.2022 Fail to prepare and prepare to fail. We want to ensure that your students are as prepared as they can be for the HSC. This includes what happens after the trial. For your feedback combined with activities to strengthen their responses will lead to a more confident approach to the HSC. Enabling them to identify areas for improvement.

19.01.2022 What would be your staple item for the day? For us, its coffee. Same order, everyday. How nice it was during the holidays to enjoy this whilst it was hot and surrounded by beautiful company.

19.01.2022 We have seen a lot of exams in our time and one thing we have never seen is the ability for it to be tailored. Thats right we give you more questions than you need to build that paper for your school and subject area. We like to think of them like Goldilocks - Just right!

18.01.2022 Not a day goes by where we dont learn something from our students. This was an important mindset shift for us. We always believed that we had to be the most knowledgeable people in the room. Each year we are learning more and more from our students. By us learning they too are and so this magical cycle continues.

18.01.2022 When was the last time that you challenged your students creatively? We love an I wonder sequence of questions. No matter your topic, no matter your focus or Key Learning Area - we guarantee you will be blown away with where and what you students want to know. When introducing a new topic or even when reading a piece of text, try starting your lesson with an I wonder.... We have done this in Food Technology, when exploring traditions and customs of different cultures. Have your students come up with 10 different questions. Keep these in your room and see over the course if you are able to answer these.

18.01.2022 In these times sometimes all we need is a little guidance and a point in the right direction. Our exams aim to provide guidance to both the student and the teacher. Enabling this dynamic duo to work together to achieve a common goal and purpose - student growth. Let us guide your students to HSC success with our examination packs

18.01.2022 As a new term is here some topics may be being finalised as new ones begin. We love a lightning writing activity to test our students' knowledge and capabilities. We love creating a storm in the classroom. It is a great opportunity for pre assessment and post assessment to be visited and then revisited. We love having our students refer to it throughout to build their technical language. You can shake up the way you deliver this activity - A-Z, Brainstorm cloud, an image relating to your topic area and even word bingo! Looks like there is a storm on the horizon!

18.01.2022 There goes that old saying - with a cherry on top. Well our examinations are that cupcake with the sprinkles on top! They come with it all, probably more than you expected and are far from vanilla! When we created this company we wanted more of an experience, something for everyone. We thought about what would make this easier for us, whilst also benefiting teachers of all stages of their careers and strengthening our student bodies. We wanted measurable growth from our stude...nts. So Two Teach was born. Our birth certificate features the following: Customisable - we give you interchangeable questions to suit your scope and sequence and lesson delivery. If a question doesn’t quite fit, we give you options to swap in and out. Detailed sample answers and marking rubrics - so thorough you know exactly where to position your mark. Post examination activities - we look at areas for student development and create a range of activities for you to use with your class - post exam. No more papers in the bin, we assist you to build your students capacity, identify areas for improvement and build such capabilities as technical language, content and answer structure. We guarantee this will soon become your favourite flavour.

18.01.2022 Challenge the process. How nice it is to have those inquisitive minds in the classroom. We love nothing more than when they ask that question Why? Instilling the power in our students to find the answers to the most challenging questions is our greatest hope.

17.01.2022 The days are getting a little longer and a little warmer. Spring has definitely sprung. One thing I’ve enjoyed about this time of year is the Spring clean. Is it just us or does this time ignite an urge and desire to SPRING Clean? Our wardrobe got a makeover - How about you?... We are going to try the coat hanger rule. Place all your clothes the same way on coat hangers, when you wear an item you can reverse the coat hanger. This gives you an opportunity to assess the items you wear most and those that perhaps you don’t wear at all.

16.01.2022 We have been enjoying formulating our meetings around a great coffee and breakfast spot. It enables us to do what we both love - whilst also working on what needs to be achieved. Because let's face it we don’t even know who we are anymore without caffeine! Can you recommend a great breakfast spot?... Our latest favourites in NSW would have to be: Gyspy Espresso Mecca Green Tangerine See more

15.01.2022 How amazing is the work of the CEF! Have a look at this post that they have shared about Two Teach! We couldnt think of a more worthy cause. We are proud to contribute to the work they do. $1.00 from each of our papers sold will help them to continue the amazing work that they do for those in rural and remote areas.

Though much time has been spent for us preparing, editing and formatting our examination packages! A little different start to this time last term. Its our last one with year 12! ... What are you doing to prepare them?

14.01.2022 Weve been doing a lot of searching on this end. I feel sometimes it has been the fact that we havent entirely been sure of the answer we are searching for, as day by day perimeters are changed. But what we have discovered in this journey has been that the road has lead us to answers we didnt even know we were looking for. A constant reminder to challenge our students in their thinking processes.

13.01.2022 How beautiful it is to think that the best is yet to come. Not knowing whats ahead is both scary and beautiful. We cant wait to spread our wings and show the world the colours of our dreams.

10.01.2022 We pride ourselves on attention to detail. Especially when it comes to proofing, formatting and editing our exams. Weve done the hard work so you wont have to. Professional and consistent.

10.01.2022 Were hoping that after Isolation our minds have been stretched in ways that we could never have imagined. That our students have become more independent learners, and we have mastered or upskilled in technology and platforms that we never knew existed and that we will never forget the value of human connection. Here is hoping that our minds out stretch the waistlines - Iso snacking? Am I right?

10.01.2022 We like to think our examination packages contain all the pieces for you and your students to see the whole picture. We spent a lot of time reflecting on the examination process and we believe in a holistic approach. Where all parties have been considered so we can all work together to achieve our best. We have thought about the early career teacher, the experienced teacher, our academic students and those who need a little extra help and care. ... This combined will help piece the whole process together and enable you to see the whole picture through everyones eyes.

09.01.2022 Passion led us here. We are inspired by change. Driven by results. Our mantra, purpose and drive behind this business. We remind ourselves of this everyday as we continue to put ourselves out there and share what we stand for

09.01.2022 What a year this has been. What we want you to remember though is the climb teaches us just as much as the view. You know you cant have one without the other! We have to remember what we are climbing towards. Sometimes in life it takes longer to reach the top, the things along the way shape us and build us to a path we didnt even know we were on with a view we didnt even know was possible.

08.01.2022 The biggest leap we have taken was this business and what a year to have started it! But like all things in life, the leap is hard, but safety in the long run is harder. We hope after this we will be able to build ourselves in a range of areas of life. From that we hope to never stop growing.

07.01.2022 Sample answers - no matter where you are in your career its always good to know what the marker was expecting when writing responses. Our sample answers showcase what could be included in the exam although never limited to. Enabling you to assist your students in building their capacity in the strength of their exam responses. It is important to know where the goal posts are before trying to score!

07.01.2022 We celebrated one year in operation in January and we have spent the holidays working towards 2021. 06.01.2022 Perspective - life is all about it. We have found ourselves having to adjust this now more than ever as we continue to navigate through this new normal. We choose to do it with an open mind and a grateful heart. For you can either let the day run you or you can run the day!

06.01.2022 I want to be like a sunflower, so that even on the darkest days I will stand tall and find the sunshine. Do you know when they can’t find sunshine they turn to face one another? Amongst the darkness that can be this time of the term, where the clouds of Assessments, Marking, Reports, Report comments and parent and teacher interviews. Know that sunshine is coming in the form of holidays. Hang in there and search for the sunshine amongst these tasks in what your students have achieved and how much content you have delivered. For they are richer today then they were when they first entered your classroom.

05.01.2022 This is one concept we always struggled with a little as a teacher - especially as an early career teacher. Although we must admit somedays that fear still creeps in! What we have learnt more than anything in our time though, is the value of authenticity. Having a gifted and talented class certainly puts this into perspective. How wonderful it is though to create an environment where inquisitive minds have no boundaries, where lessons deviate well beyond the lesson plan or syllabus dot point, where you as the teacher are challenged with the questions - for in this space is where the learning truly occurs - in what they begin to teach us! What is the most challenging question you have been asked?

05.01.2022 This speaks to us on another level. In this moment in time we wanted you to know that you are exactly where you need to be. There is no right way of doing things right now. You just need to ensure that your students are at the centre of the decisions you are making.

05.01.2022 We are honoured to donate much needed funds to a charity that is so very personal and close to us. The Country Education Foundation are ensuring right now that access to Education is ESSENTIAL for all students. A little reminder right now in this isolation that some are more isolated than others. $1.00 from every paper sold will be donated to assist this amazing charity in working to ensure education for all, no matter your location.

04.01.2022 Breathe. Inhale the good and exhale the bad. Whilst the holidays may already be a distant memory, we just wanted to remind you that youve got this. Sometimes all it takes is a couple of deep breaths to re-centre ourselves. How do you restore the calm?

04.01.2022 HEARTWORK Each day is born with a sunrise and ends in a sunset, the same way we open our eyes to see the light, ... and close them to hear the dark. You have no control over how your story begins or ends. But by now, you should know that all things have an ending. Every spark returns to darkness. Every sound returns to silence. And every flower returns to sleep with the earth. The journey of the sun and moon is predictable. But yours, is your ultimate ART. Suzy Kassem Whilst many things in life are predictable and guaranteed. It’s the unpredictable that sparks joy!

04.01.2022 LEGO We all know it and chances are we grew up with it. One of the most recognisable brands in the world. LEGO is over 50 years old and yet still so popular with children and adults of today. Over 340 million LEGO minifigures were produced in 2019 alone. It is a wonderful pastime but have you ever considered the educational benefits?... LEGO is a confidence builder in STEAM learning. It not only builds teamwork, provides a space for creativity it also helps develop lateral thinking and planning skills. We like to do this as part of our Technology Mandatory design challenges. Try giving your class a problem that links with your subject area for that term. They then devise a solution in groups using the Lego and pitch it to you! Move over shark tank. We hope you will be blown away with what they create.

03.01.2022 Have you ever had a student get back in touch after school? Read an article or saw a piece on TV and thought - I taught them? How wonderful it is to think that youve been part of their lives long after theyve graduated! Have you had a moment where you have reflected on the impact of a teacher?... For us its everytime we go to apply a discount on a sale item! I can see Mr Williams, my Maths teacher - and suddenly Im grateful I listened! Spend and save!

02.01.2022 13 million reasons why we do what we do. How incredible is this figure and the work that is done by the team at the Country Education Foundation of Australia? Part of the reason we are so proud to contribute $1 from each paper sold to continue this amazing work. For our youth are our future and Education is power.

01.01.2022 Never underestimate the power of feedback. We like to look at it as an opportunity for further growth no matter where our students are at - for wherever they are provides measurable growth capacity. Here are some tips we find helpful when providing feedback to students. Just as though learning intentions and instructions should be explicit, so too should our feedback and it's important to also highlight what that student may be doing differently. Be as specific as possible -... this means you need to move away from things like great job or not quite there yet highlight what is missing and what they have included. The sooner the better - we need issues to be corrected so they don’t become a habit and routine. Feedback should come in all forms and not just be linked to summative assessment. Address the learners advancement to a goal - Timperley and Hattie note that effective feedback is most often oriented around a specific achievement that students are (or should be) working toward. When giving feedback, it should be clear to students how the information they are receiving will help them progress toward their final goal. Present feedback carefully - especially when students may have missed the mark completely. We do not want to decrease their motivation or have them not want to try again or acknowledge the feedback. Involve students in the process - work out ways to provide the feedback that differentiate from the red pen. Sometimes a conversation can reinforce what it is that they need to work on. As well as creating opportunities for them to self assess. Have them highlight where they have used technical language and where they have used cause and effect language. See more

01.01.2022 Endless opportunities and possibilities for those willing recipients of the Country Education Foundation. We are so pleased to be working alongside the CEF again this year as our chosen charity partner. $1.00 from each examination sold will be donated to continue to support such an amazing cause. Bridging the gap and creating endless opportunities and possibilities for students in rural and remote areas. Papers with purpose!
