25.01.2022 If you have driven by over the last few weeks, you may be wondering what we've been up to The answer, plenty! Our front retaining wall is now up and awaits the delivery of brick and stone. Behind the scenes our waste water systems are being installed and we have started work on the the exterior Cellar Door renovation. Give us a wave and a toot if you happen to see us out the front. ... Cheers Steve & Stu

21.01.2022 Thanks to everyone that has been asking about our progress over the last few months and keeping track of everything It has no doubt been an interesting and challenging few months with everything going on in the world but we have been pushing ahead! We can't wait for the drier weather to get stuck into some of the big tasks we have coming up. We hope everyone is staying safe and we can't wait to open and share a drink with you all in the future.

16.01.2022 Another progress shot of our Milling & Plant Rooms. Still quite a bit to do but all part of the fun!

01.01.2022 Following yesterday’s post of new breweries, todays is all about new breweries to open (Hopefully) over the next 6 months. Firstly is the Woolstore Brewery in M...ount Gambier. This brewery was due to open before COVID disrupted everyone’s life. The brewery is located in the heritage listed woolstore building on The Rail, Mount Gambier. Next is the Union Bridge Brewery & Distillery in Cudlee Creek, in the Adelaide Hills. This brewery is also almost finished and I am expecting it to be open before the end of the year. The brewer Stuart currently brews SK Beverages beer which has been available for a couple of years now. Lone Gum Farmhouse Brewery is located at Pages Flat just out of McLaren Vale, and will focus on wild fermented and sour beers, inspired by Belgian lambic wild fermented style ales. Again, this brewery is roaring to go and will hopefully be open for spring or summer. Higher Ground Brewing Co in Hawthorndene, is currently a large-scale home brewer, but is looking to open as a full-scale microbrewery. They have recently purchased new larger scale brewing equipment and are brewing test beers that are being canned. Deadset Brewing Co. located on coach road in Aldinga, set in the older tourist area of Aldinga. From what I can find, the company has a pilot brewery setup and test brews being brewed, as well a liquor license being granted late last year, so hopefully this brewery will be open before the end of the year. Bowden Brewing is located in Plant Three on Fourth Street Bowden, just a stone throw from the states largest brewer, SA Brewing Co. The brewery is owned by the guys who run NOLA in the city, and will be brewed by Alex Marschall who also brews for Western Ridge Brewing. The brewery will be of a similar scale to Sparkke on Whitmore Square. And Lastly is Beer No Evil, so will be selling beer within the next month, with ‘The River of Insanity’ being available in cans from the 10th of July, and then soon followed by ‘My Words of Wisdom’. I look forward to trying these new beers.
