08.01.2022 Our V35 Matthew Rocca Poetry Award goes to Half-White Lung by Joshua Baird! Joshua Baird writes from Geelong, Victoria, and teaches Creative Writing at Deakin University. He recently completed a PhD thesis which examines links between portrayals of masculinity and unreliable narration in first-person fiction.

01.01.2022 The winner of the Judith Rodrigues award goes to The Analogue Supermakt by Maddison Brake! Maddison Brake is a writer and editor living on Wadawurrung land. Her work has appeared in Matters Journal, Scum Mag and Voiceworks among others. She is the recipient of Deakin University's 2019 Judith Rodriguez Prize and will undertake a mentorship with Writers Victoria in 2020. She edits nonfiction for Voiceworks.
