08.01.2022 CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: Verve Studios and La Mama Theatre are presenting Falling Apples as part of Melbourne Fringe! Were looking for volunteers to do Front of House shifts at our Kensington Town Hall venue, selling tickets, introducing the show and liaising with the Stage Manager to manage the space. La Mama will be able to provide training and detailed instructions will be available. Its a wonderful opportunity to get involved and see the show FOR FREE! In addition, La Mam...a can provide comps to any La Mama Fringe show for volunteers to get a sense of how it works (and see some more shows FOR FREE!) Having completed 3 years of training with Verve Studios Roberts roles in theatre have included Detective Trotter in The Mouse Trap, Kane in Peter Stone and Dan in A Mouthful of Birds. In 2016 Robert wrote and self-directed his piece House =/= Home. His most recent performance was in the theatre debut of Lene Theigens Falling Apples where he originated the role of Paul. We asked Robert : "If someone were I con...sidering attending Verve studios, what one piece of advice would you give them? Stay-work hard, take nothing for granted, dont close yourself off, and be open and available at all times. Dont allow yourself to get caught within your internal monologue, and be daring and adventurous.
