20.01.2022 So proud of my Mother In January this year my Mum decided to do a weightloss challenge with us which Plexus were running. At 78 years of age nothing was going to stop her from reaching her goal. ... This is her story- When I started the Renew You Challenge I felt that I was possibly too old at 78 years of age to make a change to my body and health but I didn’t want to be the one on the sidelines. I wanted to be part of this challenge with my daughters. What did I have to lose? I wanted to prove to myself that no matter what age you are you are still capable of committing to something and succeeding. I reached the end of the challenge and proved to myself and my family that age does not matter. It has shown me that if you have help, support, commitment and a will to succeed you can do anything. I now know that I am still capable and able to achieve any dreams that I still have left in my heart. My inspiration for starting this journey was simply wanting to lose just a couple kilos, get my energy levels back and stabilise health conditions that have occurred all with the goal of being able to spend more time with my family, my grandchildren and great grandchildren. During my 78 years I have tried many weight loss programs with losing a little bit of weight here and there but never able to maintain it. The 8 weeks of this challenge didn’t seem like a challenge. I have enjoyed learning to read food labels, make better food choices, try new recipes and work out enjoyable sustainable exercise routines. This time round I have found getting healthier simple and easy compared to previous attempts. I truly believe I have succeeded both personally and for my family. Not only have I gone down a couple sizes in clothes I now have the energy for everyday activities and I have the desire and mindset to keep going. I want to make the rest of my years the healthiest and happiest that they can be and this challenge helped me find this. I have been given a new lease on life. I now see the future. 03.01.2022 WOW here we go I don’t normally do this vulnerable type post but I woke this morning and I knew by the feel of me that something different is happening to my body. I know it’s not perfect and I still have a long way to go. My body didn’t get bad overnight it took a lot of time and effort to get into the bad shape it was in but here is the thing. I am prepared to go on this journey of many ups and downs to get it to the point of where I am comfortable and happy with it. Ever...yone knows my story of how bad my overall health and weight was over 4 years ago, so I started on plexus and my health and weight have improved greatly, however 2 years ago a few things started to happen with my body that plexus just couldn’t fix. So I have been suffering chronic pain for 2 years now, I had to stop any type of physical activity, however I never stopped my plexus because I knew these scientific plant based supplements would keep me on track in all other areas which they have. I haven’t had any sickness during that time so to me that is amazing as that’s when things go bad when your body is suffering. However a month ago I decided to up the anti. So I started working with a nutritionist I know most people start with a personal trainer nope I can’t do that so a Nutriontist it was. We started to include a lot more of my plexus range, the big change was without fail the daily inclusion of the lean meal Replacement shake, full strength collagen and X factor plus. I have also changed from normal dairy to lactose only dairy, and no carbs except some little biscuits I eat.
