24.01.2022 Last, but not least is our amazing crew! Our backstage crew were a fantastic support to our cast, managing props, microphone headsets and getting people onto the stage on time. We couldn't have done it without them! Following photos of our crew are a few more random photos, with many thanks again to Ms Tegan taking them!

22.01.2022 Today we started the farewells to our Well Being Leader, Liz Edwards with two visiting well being advocates, Carol and Bobby. Liz will retire at the end of this week after being part of the Department for Education for 51 years. That is a HUGE achievement! We shall all miss Liz in so many different ways but wish her well in what is most certainly a well deserved retirement!

20.01.2022 Unfortunately due to a technical issue with our colour photocopier we are unable to print the last newsletter for 2020! 20.01.2022 Look what's new in our yard. A great initiative for recycling and collecting 10c containers. Thanks Jed, Grant and Mrs Gray!

19.01.2022 Due to Covid-19 restrictions, parents/community will not be allowed on site to view the school musical. Performances will take place on Wednesday 25th at 11am to our school students, and on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm (no audience). We will film the evening performance for a DVD, and we hope to live stream the evening performance. Unfortunately, parents who were going to be doing hair and makeup will not be allowed to do this. If you can, please send your child to school with hair and makeup done for the next 2 days. We will do face paint and any hair/makeup that needs doing. Money paid for tickets will be able to go towards DVD purchase, or can be refunded if necessary. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

14.01.2022 The school musical, A Circus Story, will still go ahead this week, although with some changes due to restrictions. Monday will be rehearsals and costume checks while our stage and technical elements are set up. Students need to dress comfortably for singing/dancing, with hat and sunscreen on, and all props must be brought in. Tuesday will be tech rehearsal and dress rehearsal, which means students will need to come to school with hair and makeup done, if possible. We will do face paint for poodles/monkeys/clowns at school Tuesday morning. Details about scheduled performances will be provided tomorrow.

13.01.2022 Looks amazing everyone!!

05.01.2022 Who could forget our main cast? Singing, dancing and acting with such confidence and expression. Our main cast comprised Year 6 and 7 students who auditioned for major and minor roles. We had Roderica the Ringmaster and her son, Lorenzo, Pablo the Clown with his wife Cordelia and daughter Allegra, Clowns Claudio, Clive, Clarissa and Clarence, acrobat Remi, tightrope walker Tatiana, Gianna the juggler, Harriet the hula-hooper, Bianca the baton-twirler, strongmen Salvatore and Cedric, Enzo the escapologist, Merlina the magician, Fifi the poodle trainer, Mariella the monkey trainer, Marcel the mime, and our fabulous Sadie the cleaning lady. Well done all for learning your lines, for singing solos and for telling A Circus Story to our audiences!

04.01.2022 Things are moving along on the STEAM building. The crane has been busy this week putting the frame together! Starting to take shape and look like a building.

03.01.2022 Our troupe of acrobats were powerful yet graceful, demonstrating teamwork, flexibility, style and strength. One of our Reception students was overheard saying, "that was so beautiful" after one of their dances; and they were right. Thanks to Anais Foot and Leila Britton for choreographing their dances: Corner of the Sky (Anais), Fame (Leila) and Don't Give Up on Me (Leila, but solo by Anais). Also thanks to Dan Aubin for teaching the acrobats to build a pyramid structure safely.

03.01.2022 Thank you to Miss Jenna, Miss Andrea and our school leaders, Jed and Anais, for representing our school and laying a beautiful wreath at today's Remembrance Day ceremony

01.01.2022 Click this link for the live steam of A Circus Story, Wednesday 25th November at 6:30pm! Thanks to Roxy's music for making this happen for us. https://youtu.be/iUTXYCZ6Kbk

01.01.2022 COVID-19 precautions for Term 1 School resumes for students on Wednesday 27th of January, 2021. The current directive from DfE is that parents and caregivers are allowed on site BUT they are not to enter classrooms. We ask that parents and carers respect this directive as it is not a school based decision and please try to maintain a social distancing of 1.5m.... Please remember if you need to enter the Front Office you will have to scan the QR code and respect the number allowed in this space at one time. Thank you for supporting us in these challenging times.

01.01.2022 Wanna play? Then send in the clowns! Our clown troupe were colourful, hilarious and extremely talented in acrobatics and unicycling! Their motto? Make 'em laugh, make 'em laugh, make 'em laugh! Thanks to Dan Aubin for some clowning coaching from an expert.
