23.01.2022 BIKE STOLEN ...at approx 11.30 am this person came onto our premises and stole a Specialized Rockhopper Expert valued at $1700. He has ridden away via Brisbane Rd heading north. He was wearing a backpack on his front and another on his back. Please keep an eye out.

21.01.2022 Unfortunately we had an unscheduled flare up this afternoon after a dead tree came down and ignited an adjacent unburnt area. Two CTCA and two Veteran RFB volunteers were on call and able to successfully contain its spread. However it means that a number of large stags (dead Eucalypts that were needlessly poisoned some time ago) have now ignited and can't be extinguished. These tall stags (eg. the pair in the 2nd photo) are dangerous and will need to be monitored until they fall and burn themselves out. Due to the high hazard they pose to the public we unfortunately won't be re-opening the facility until they have come down and can be extinguished. Please refer to our opening hours listed on this page which are always kept up to date. Thank you for your understanding.

15.01.2022 All the mop up work is complete and the trails will be open in the morning (Friday). Have a great weekend!

15.01.2022 It's been a while since we've had such a good spell of rain, so we took the opportunity to spruce up an old favorite: Wreck it Rod (Trail #8). Now open

13.01.2022 Update on Victory Heights Trail parkrun

12.01.2022 Last of the 7 planned burns done for the weekend. A VERY BIG THANKS to the great crew of volunteers at Veteran Rural Fire Brigade for giving up their weekend to help keep our forest safe and healthy. Everything went smooth as clockwork and really happy with the clean cool burns that were achieved.

11.01.2022 Hi there. The trails are currently closed to the public while we wait out this weather system and also take the opportunity to do repairs and maintenance. Please check our opening hours before planning a visit. Enjoy the rain! Cheers

06.01.2022 Lucky no one was under this one!

04.01.2022 So happy to find these very fresh scats (koala droppings) this morning up near the western boundary. The tree they were under has lovely fresh green leaves and has clearly been traveled up and down frequently. From learning about scats I would say that these ones are about 3 days old and still softish and in abundance Keep your out and please post if you are lucky enough to see one. And if you are taking your dog for a walk with you PLEASE keep it ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES.

01.01.2022 Great corners on one of the new trails. If you haven't been, you're missing out
