18.01.2022 Day 14, Cocktail number 14 - the B52, is a special request for Fay Stokes. Fay, this one is for you...... Into a shot glass, pour 10ml of a coffee liqueur like Kahlua. Using the back of a spoon, carefully add 10 ml Baileys, to create a layer and then, 10ml Grand Marnier. Enjoy.

11.01.2022 Day 16 - cocktail 16, the Mojito. Such fun Muddle 8 mint leaves, 6 lime wedges and 20 ml sugar syrup. To a tall glass, add ice, the muddle mixture and 45ml Bacardi. Combine and top with sofa water. Garnish with lime wedges and more mint leaves.

10.01.2022 Espresso Martini yes please! Makes Saturday racing on the couch so enjoyable. Add 45ml vodka, 15ml coffee liquor, 30 ml or a shot of espresso and 10 ml vanilla syrup to ice in a cocktail shaker. Mix well and strain into a coupe. Garnish with coffee beans. Enjoy and happy punting

09.01.2022 We delighted to welcome Sydney Olympian Amanda Ross Eventing Fit and Rio Paralympian Emma Booth Para Equestrian as our newest VRC Ambassadors! Amanda is one of ...the best-known equestrian riders in Victoria. She has forged a career that has taken her around the world and is currently ranked 44th in the world in eventing. Competing with Off The Track thoroughbred Otto Schumaker at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and is aiming for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics with a team of three possible contenders, including another Off The Track thoroughbred Koko Popping Candy. Emma is a recent convert to para-dressage and was selected for the 2016 Australian Paralympic team after only three years competing in the sport. Emma competed thoroughbreds extensively throughout her previous career in eventing before making the switch to para-dressage. She recently recruited Off The Track thoroughbred Pakaya Prince to her team of horses and believes that his striking presence, laidback temperament and aptitude for work typical for the thoroughbred make him a great candidate for para-dressage. Both Amanda and Emma are currently in line to compete at the rescheduled Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games next year! We can't wait to follow their journey. #LovetheHorse

03.01.2022 We might not be able to be trackside at Flemington tomorrow but we will still have our $500 Prize for the Strapper of the Best Presented Horse in the Mumm Wakeful Stakes (Race 2). Right throughout the lockdowns, the Stable Staff have been showing up for work day after day and caring for these horses so we have been very keen to keep our Strappers Prizes initiative going. A big thank you to our good friends at Racing.com who will be on course tomorrow and will help us find the... winner of the Best Presented Horse.
