16.01.2022 Symbol for Sacred Sites These icons used in my paintings are contemporary. These icons are visual descriptions for Sacred Sites My paintings are a very special expression of my self. I have experienced many things in life, but what I try to do most is give people an understanding of the Jukurrpa in a way that people can appreciate through knowledge that the Jukurrpa has to offer.... 14.01.2022 Diramu Aboriginal Dance and Didgeridoo Performers The word Diramu means tree in the Aboriginal language of the Darug Clan of the Eora Nation, the traditional owners of Sydney. Diramu symbolises strength and knowledge. A tree provides food, shelter and many of the tools and implements used in our traditional life including boomerangs, canoes and didgeridoos. Enthralling and engaging, Diramu Aboriginal Dance and Didgeridoo are Sydney’s best traditional indigenous Australian Abo...riginal performance and education troupe. Led by Aboriginal elder, teacher and artist, Walangari Karntawarra. Their traditional Aboriginal dance performances, Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime storytelling, masterful didgeridoo music and song are a vibrant and captivating way of showcasing Australia’s rich indigenous culture to overseas visitors and the general Australian public. Diramu Aboriginal Dance and Didgeridoo take great pride in their work and have a well-earned reputation, having performed, entertained and educated audiences, young and old, from a wide range of corporate, tourism, educational and government organisations. 13.01.2022 Explaining different symbols used in my Aboriginal Dreaming paintings Painting is a very special expression of ones self. To indulge in a passion as spiritual as the Jukurrpa is (Aboriginal Dreaming) without doubt a most rewarding one. I have experienced many things in life, but what I try to do most is give people an understanding of the Jukurrpa in a way that people can appreciate through knowledge that the Jukurrpa has to offer. Aboriginal culture is a spiritual culture. I...t is always important to pay your respects to the land and to honour our Ancestors and Dreaming spirits. It is just as important to pay respect to the living. That law is Caring and Sharing for all peoples. The Creation Dreamtime icons are the main concentric circles featured in my works.

06.01.2022 I love sharing more of my paintings and the stories behind them. This one is called: Milkyway Dreaming 084 Let me share some more about the significance Milkyway in our tradition: The Milkyway and the earth are linked. When we perform our ceremonies, they connect us with our spiritual beings in the stars.... The Milkyway is also the resting place for our souls. When we die we become a star and return to earth as falling stars to start the cycle of reincarnation again. The Milkyway is like an encyclopedia. It teaches us many stories about how the universe was created and what we need to do as people, to play our part in the story of life. When Aboriginal people of Australia observed the Milkyway they would identify the areas where there was an absence of light and stars. One of these areas is identified as the Dark Emu a very special and sacred Spirit Being.
