Our Girls Programs are new and are designed to introduce... all girls, regardless of experience, to the exciting games of Sevens and Tens rugby and to provide a pathway for those girls wishing to progress to XV’s rugby. Rugby 7s is a unique, faster, modified 15s rugby game that allows for a quick outcome finishing in just 14 minutes of play. As the name implies, there are only 7 players per team on the field at any one time, playing 2 x 7 minute halves. 20.01.2022 In huge news for Hunter rugby fans... Rugby Australia is set to announce a new Rugby Championship draw which includes two international games in Newcastle. The double header on November 28th will see the Wallabies play Argentina at Hunter stadium, followed by South Africa and New Zealand.... The modified six-week season will see double headers played in back-to-back rounds in Brisbane and Sydney, before heading to Newcastle. Who went last time international rugby came to Newcastle? (2012 Wallabies v Scotland in torrential rain, we lost 9 - 6).

The comp is played on Friday nights and w...ill be kicking off on February 5th for 7 weeks. There are three age groups: U13s - turning 12 or 13 this year U15s - turning 14 or 15 this year U17s - turning 16 or 17 this year Registrations will be opening soon via Rugby Xplorer.
