24.01.2022 While our show (and many others) are cancelled this year, ABC Local Radio in Victoria will be holding a virtual show! Entries are open now, close on the 7th of September, and the virtual show will take place on the 10th of September. This looks like a fantastic opportunity during these times!... 18.01.2022 Even though we can’t put on a 2020 show, we are working behind the scenes on the 2021 Warrnambool Show. We need your help. We want to know what you’d like to see at the show, what categories you’d like to enter? Have you perfected the art of baking sourdough?... Is your garden full of a particular bloom? Do you think you have the cutest guinea pig? Can you build the best Lego? What about coffee, who is the best barista in town? We’re open to your suggestions! And if you’re an expert and would like to be a judge, please get in touch - we’d love to hear from you.

10.01.2022 Due to the VIC lockdown, the Warrnambool Agricultural Society's AGM has been rescheduled to be held a week later. It will now take place on Wednesday the 24th of February. Until then we hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

09.01.2022 I really enjoyed shooting the Dog High Jump! They definitely get up there! Tilly (Blue Heeler, first pictures) won the event clearing 2m!! Many first time High Jumpers too - good fun all round - Jayden

09.01.2022 The Australian Light Horse is in town! Come check them out today at the showgrounds. You'll get to see their Sports day, where they run competitions just like they did prior to WWI. I really hope you've enjoyed seeing my photos of the show over the last week or so. I've certainly enjoyed reliving the show and bringing some great images to life to share with you all - Jayden

08.01.2022 Cancellation of the 2020 Warrnambool Show The Warrnambool Show will not be held in its current format in 2020. The Committee of The Warrnambool Agricultural Society has made this decision with great regret due to the current Covid-19 environment. We will investigate options for holding a smaller event if government restrictions allow. We are only in the early stages of looking into this and it may not eventuate, but we will keep all our stakeholders informed as we go. This de...cision was not made lightly and the committee has had some long discussions on the issue. First and foremost is the health and safety of all our stakeholders given the current risks of Covid-19. Also, we could not foresee future restrictions associated with Covid-19. We were also concerned in the current tightened financial climate about seeking sponsorship and asking patrons to spend up at the show. A lot of volunteer hours and financial investment need to be committed to putting on the Warrnambool Show, and we are at that time in the year when we would have to start making that commitment. The Warrnambool Agricultural Society has a long and proud history as one of the longest running shows in Victoria and the committee strives every year to stage the best possible event that we can whilst still staying loyal to our agricultural roots. We hope for the continuing support from all our stakeholders as we attempt to get through this situation and look forward to putting on a great community event next year. We will notify all stakeholders as we go if we are able to put on a smaller event instead of our usual show this year. The committee of The Warrnambool Agricultural Society hopes everyone stays safe and well.

You guys are fantastic, and your support really makes the show as fantastic as it can be We certainly look forward to a sensational 2020 and hope you all have a fantastic year! For now though, We hope you have had a splendid Christmas, enjoyed the festive season, and have an outstanding New Years Eve!!
