24.01.2022 A massive thank you to all who have been in this week to buy masks. We have been overwhelmed by the response. We have made well over 300 masks this week. Thank ...you Can I please ask for patience and understanding as we try to keep up supplies. Each mask takes 8 - 10 mins to make and we have to work in a production line process to keep that tight. We are sewing, ironing, folding and packaging as quickly as we can to keep up. There are limited colours to choose from because of demand - sorry, it is what it is. We are not in a position currently to take orders, holds and phone orders. If and when things slow down we may be able to. Thanks again and please stay safe.

14.01.2022 Public Health Alert Community members on Brisbanes southside are asked to remain alert but not alarmed as Queensland records three new cases of novel cor...onavirus (COVID-19). The first case is a 19-year-old woman who tested positive after travelling interstate last week. She is an employee at Parklands Christian College on Brisbanes southside. Queensland Health is working closely with the school which has temporarily closed until further notice. The second case is a 19-year-old female travel companion. Both cases travelled interstate together last week. It is believed they contracted the virus in Melbourne, Victoria. The third reported case is a known close contact, a 22-year-old woman, who tested positive later today. This individual is an employee of YMCA Chatswood Hills Outside School Hours Care. Queensland Health is working closely with the school and the care centre, both of which have temporarily closed until further notice. 08.01.2022 I started the day at Wellington Point boat ramp wth State MP Don Brown and local boaties. Mark Robinson MP was also invited but unfortunately could...nt make it today. The State Gov recently announced resurfacing works on the northern ramp were to commence and locals wanted to discuss their other concerns with the area also. With both northern City State MPs listening , thank you Don Brown for attending today, hopefully we can acknowledge the other marine infrastructure works and plan a staged approach to ensure an increase in safety and also to be more user friendly. Appreciate the knowledge of locals who use the ramp and their time today. 05.01.2022 There is more than mushrooms popping up across our area.... What a fantastic buzz I have this morning! After enjoying a catch up with Tony and Andrea from Ox...ley by the Bay at Wellington Point Reserve and watching the commencement of the installation of CCTV cameras..... YES. YES. YES you read it correctly !!!!!!! After all this time todays the day and I admit I stood there for a while enjoying the moment Then, once I convinced myself the cameras were actually, finally happening and nothing else could hold it up, I drove to APEX park to check on the park works, which are coming along very nicely. Having three boys that loved to climb everywhere I am excited to see climbing ropes etc going in to challenge everyone. Yep I think I might even give them a try out.... Now to the office for webinars and distance meetings..... it is moments like these when I see projects happening, sometimes after years of lobbying and planning , I feel so satisfied and love this job ! #div1
