07.01.2022 Disco fans and lovers of juvenile dance parties, We have been hardly working over the summer off-season to attain sub-par physical performance, and the results are are contradictory to our (lack of) efforts! The Disco's got their first win of the season yesterday, upsetting first round rivals the West Coast Spastic Eagles. Cawley and the newly appointed SHRL Treasurer Wray locked down the defence, while Jonny netted the first two goals of the season, Spunk bagged a hatrick af...ter donning the absentee MK's blades and Clauds found the back of the milk crates for a 6-3 win. Special shout out to Anita for having a roll around to provide some much needed relief on what was a scorcher of a day down at Churchlands aka The Dancefloor. Stay tuned, things are looking pretty lukewarm for season 2016a for your favorite SHRL franchise. Peace, Love and Disco xx

04.01.2022 A big shout out to the Jurassic Pucks for my new Jersey. If someone asked for a Blue Light Disco jersey with their team name on the back I would have choked them.

04.01.2022 The discos faced their biggest challenge of the year - the Karrakatta Grim Jobs - down at the stink rink it self. The discos started well, managing to get to the end of the first only 1 goal down but this was soon turned around, with a lack lustre effort in the 2nd saw the grims slam on 5-1 with the score at 7-2 at the end of 2. The discos showed some fighting spirit in the last managing to win it 3-2 but ultimately went down 5-9. It was a classy show but the grims as they sh...owed all their silky moves, dominating every stat of the game. While for the discos their were a lot of positives to take out of the game - like out counter attacking hockey which wielded us all 5 goals! This sees the discos go to 5-3 for the season, with a big game coming up this weekend! Stay tuuuuned for details.
