24.01.2022 The 2020 Western Premier League will be a Dubbo Club Winner after both Macquarie United Football Club and Dubbo Football Club Bulls won their Semi-Finals on Saturday at Apex Oval (Dubbo). Dubbo Bulls managed a tight 1-0 win over Panorama Football Club in a close game that went down to the final seconds on whether Panorama could grab an important equaliser. Both teams did have chances to extend the lead or restore parity but a resolute defensive effort was enough for the Bull...s. Macquarie United had a blistering first half where they scored 4 goals against Lithgow Workmans Soccer FC that essentially sealed their position in the Grand Final in a 5-0 win. The opening 15-20 minutes was a fast and open match, chances for both teams before a blitz from Macquarie opened the game up. Macquarie United will host the Dubbo Bulls this weekend in a Grand Final Derby. A win apiece during the regular season, the Teams placed 1st and 2nd on the Competiton Ladder will get the chance for an exciting 3rd Clash with the WPL Championship the reward.

With only 3 games to go for most teams the equation is simple, come away with maximum points and you give your team a chance of playing finals. Panorama Football Club did the double over Orana Spurs Football Club with a 3-1 win and made a step closer to securing Finals Football. ... Parkes Cobras provided a huge upset with an away 2-1 win over 2nd placed Dubbo Football Club Bulls squashing their Premiership hopes in the process. On Sunday, in a postponed match, Lithgow Workies moved back into the Top 4 with a strong 3-1 win over Parkes Cobras. They actually moved from outside the 4 to a position with 3 games to play where they could even sneak the Premiership should Macquarie United slip up in their last 2 matches.

21.01.2022 Macquarie United Football Club maintained a dominating position at the top of the Table with a commanding 4-1 win over Orana Spurs Football Club. Jesse Spang may have run away with the Golden Boot after another hat-trick too. Dubbo Football Club Bulls kept up the chase though for the Top Position with a strong 2-0 win over Barnstoneworth United Football Club - Orange leaving the race for 3rd and 4th wide open also. Parkes Cobras and Lithgow Workmans Soccer FC were postponed... and will be played on Sunday August 30th at Woodward Oval at 3pm. Panorama Football Club has the bye, waiting for the opportunity to sneak into the Top 4. 4 Rounds over 3 Weeks to come.

Barnstoneworth United Football Club - Orange worked hard in a tight contest with Orana Spurs Football Club but had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Panorama Football Club grabbed a late goal for a 2-1 home win over Parkes Cobras to move into 3rd Position.... Whilst the draws for the Spurs and the Cobras means they bow out from Finals, only 2 from Panorama FC/Barnies/Lithgow Workies will make up the Top 4. Big Final Match Day is Coming.
