25.01.2022 Here are some photos of scarves made by our members for the scarf exchange. These were posted to South Australia.

22.01.2022 For those visiting Wangaratta or who live there. At the moment there is an Miniatures exhibition on at the gallery in Ovens Street. There are lots of woven articles. The picture is to tempt your curiosity... (Warning Ovens and Docker Street corner is blocked due to road works till the 30th June!!!)

14.01.2022 In the absence of Bendigo/Spendigo (Australian Sheep & Wool Show) this year a few of the indie dyers and fluff/yarn sellers have got together to assemble THE BIG WOOL SHOW as an online event! There are heaps of vendors from all over Australia and the event will run from Friday 17th-Monday 20th July. (Starts tomorrow! Eeek!) There will be speakers, livestreams as well as everyone's fluffy goods on offer. :) :) So, you can stay warm at home and still browse through everyone's ...products! (And no queue for the loo.....) It is a FREE event (well.... unless you purchase fluff.... lol) Website ---> www.thebigwoolshow.com Facebook Event ---> https://www.facebook.com/events/801633317035206/ See more

Some of his work can be seen here https://www.facebook.com/warpweaver/ Below is a picture of his innovative weaving that was exhibited at the Bright Gallery in October last year.

10.01.2022 On Tuesday the group had a Zoom meeting (see picture). We also had show and tell at the end of the meeting. Next Zoom meeting will be 5th June at 11am. It is hoped that on Saturday the 16th May we will have 2 Zoom meetings to discuss natural dyeing. The first one at 10am to discuss what we will dye and then another at 4pm to show our dyeing results. If you are interested even if you want to see what others do, please contact our president and she can send you the link.

Like many of you we had remained hopeful we could run this major event but it became clear this week that this could not be. The 2021 event is scheduled for July 16-18, we will keep you updated.
