21.01.2022 It’s going to be a little bit longer til we’re all Dancing Queens! We’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our planned October 2020 production of the smash-hit musical MAMMA MIA! until October 2021. This means that all shows we had planned for this year will now be coming to The Concourse Chatswood in 2021. Until this year we’ve never postponed or cancelled a show, but during times such as these it is vital that we put the health and safety of our cast, crew and patron...s first. Given current guidance from State and Federal health authorities and the uncertainty still surrounding the timing of theatres re-opening and our ability to rehearse, we feel it’s best we postpone our planned final show for the year so we can put our full focus on the spectacular season we had planned being presented next year. Ticketek will be in contact with all ticket holders to discuss transfer or refund options. Our ongoing thoughts and songs go out to all of our friends in the theatre and entertainment community feeling the full effects of this current situation. 18.01.2022 Willoughby Theatre Company regrets to announce the postponement of our May 2020 Production, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. In our 63-year history WTC has never postponed or cancelled a show but during times such as these it is vital that we put the health and safety of our cast, crew and patrons first. We have been carefully monitoring the guidance from State and Federal health authorities and following discussions with the Board and our broader committee we have unfortunat...ely had to make this difficult decision. In discussion with our venue The Concourse Chatswood, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert will now open in May 2021. We have also made the difficult decision to cancel our Cabaret season in August 2020. The Concourse box office will be in contact with all ticket holders to discuss transfer or refund options. Our thoughts and songs go out to all of our friends in the theatre and entertainment community feeling the full effects of this current situation. Our bus Priscilla is still on her way to Alice Springs, she just has to take a slight detour. We will be back with more sparkle than ever in 2021!
