20.01.2022 One more sleep to go! Final Track Preparations are underway as we get ready for the 2020 Queensland Sprintcar Title - over 2 huge nights. An update from Qld He...alth late this afternoon unfortunately advised we still cannot utilise every second row in the grandstand or bleachers, hence as of this-afternoon we have just under 1000 tickets available on the Grass hill area for Saturday night. There are still Reserved seating and Grass hill tickets available for Sunday. If you don't want to miss out, jump online now and get your tickets - www.brisbanespeedway.com.au/events.asp We will provide an update Saturday morning as to availability and if we will have tickets available at the gate. If you are coming to the event, please ensure you maintain social distancing - this includes arrival and departure from the venue. Please follow instructions from Security and Staff and if you are feeling unwell, please don't attend. Gates will be open from 1pm, Early racing from 4.40pm and Main program from 6pm. 15.01.2022 Hi everyone. Thank you to those who expressed interest in running at Toowoomba this coming weekend the 10th of October at such short notice however we were not able to make the minimum car count required so we have declined the invitation to run. The next event on the calendar is round two of the club championship, 24th of October at Toowoomba and you can nominate now by the AWSR website as usual, thanks again and hope to see you all at the track.

13.01.2022 Club Championship Round 1 Archerfield Wrap Up What a great way to kick off the season for Wingless in SEQ last night at Archerfield. A great field of 26 cars with 7 new drivers making the meeting and drivers from across SEQ and Northern Rivers. A shout out to our furthest traveller Mick Reid - hope you got home safely.... Congratulations to our heat winners Heat 1 - Kevin Willis N11 Heat 2 - Jacob Jolley Nx82 Heat 3 - Ryan Harris Heat 4 - Trent Martin N80 The B main was won by James Grady Q40 with a tight race for 4th place with Steve Pilkington Q78 just missing out and Ben Manson Q12 making it into the Feature. The feature was an action packed, fast race with tight racing throughout the field. Our top 3 were 1st - Jacob Jolley Nx82 2nd - Trent Miller N80 3rd - Paul Robinson Q28 - holding up the flag for SEQ Anyone noticing a trend here? The challenge is on for QLD to do better next time - no we're not closing the borders agan! 02.01.2022 Competitor Info for Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October: Pit Gates open from 1pm. Main gates also open from 1pm. Track Pack and Engine Starts from 4.40pm Saturday... and 4.50pm Sunday. If you are feeling unwell, or have been in a COVID hotspot in the last 14 days, do not attend. Entry procedures is as per our official practice nights: Remain in tow vehicle until you arrive at a pay table. All persons exit vehicle to the one pay table. Please provide name, address and phone number to staff. It is easier if you have these written down on a piece of paper to show staff. If you have a speedway Australia card, please have it ready on the APP BEFORE YOU GET TO THE GATE. ENSURE YOU HAVE CLOSED IN FOOTWEAR ON BEFORE YOU GET TO THE GATE otherwise you hold everyone up while we wait for you to put your shoes on. If you or your crew are arriving separate to your tow vehicle, go to the pit ticket box. Ensure you maintain social distancing at ticket box and follow ground markings. Please try to have correct change for payment. IMPORTANT RULES WHILST AT VENUE: PIT ENTRY is restricted to ACTIVELY INVOLVED PARTICIPANTS ONLY. We have not limited crew numbers, however please use common sense to not overcrowd. Stay with your own race team at all times and within your allocated parking area, unless on pit hill. If going on to pit hill must maintain 1.5m Social Distancing Drivers briefings will take place at allocated pit parking area for each division Strictly no cross over between General and Pits please stand back 1.5m from any dividing fences At the conclusion of racing PITS WILL REMAIN CLOSED TO ANYONE WITHOUT AN ARMBAND. This includes families who have been in General admission. Please pack up as soon as racing is finished and vacate the venue as quickly as possible. We appreciate your co-operation and to date everyone has been doing a great job We hope to return to normal soon, in the meantime thank you.
