09.01.2022 Wolves Martial Arts is proud to introduce our new instructor Tyren Wilkenson. Tyren started his journey with our school over 20years ago. He is a 3rd Dan black belt who completed his 12month Martial Arts instructors course. Tyren is keen to share his many years of experience with families throughout the Blue Mountains. 08.01.2022 I have the great honour to introduce our new Instructor Darren Hope and his son James. James started training in 2018 after showing interest in the art after some informal focus pad training with myself and other family members. James started training when he was 5, he is now 7. I started training some 30 years ago with Cheah Taekwondo Academy (ITF style). I recommenced formal training after James rejuvenated my interest in the art. We both enjoy the physicality, movement... and fitness of the art, chiefly the kicking and poomsae. We were attracted to the club for the ability to be able to train and participate together in the same sport, the family friendly / supportive environment (for James), the experience of the Master together with the disposition of the instructors / team leaders, the flexibility of different training locations across the Blue Mountains, and the opportunity for personal achievement within a team environment without the rigidity of many team sports.
