23.01.2022 The Country Carnival Tennis runs from Thursday 6th January to Sunday 9th at the magnificent Lawn Tennis court facility just down the hill at Kensington Gardens Lawn Tennis Club. This is an institution for country tennis players and is a fantastic event, the junior players (10 & under to 16 & under) who experience this always come back each year to play. This is an opportunity for your child to experience lawn tennis, meet new players and have a fun time playing against other... associations. For Junior Players in HTA the fee to play is covered by the Junior Commitee and is free to play. The nominations close December 6th and registrations are on the HTA website or at this link: https://hta.asn.au/?p=2002

23.01.2022 What a way to finish the first half of season 2019/20. Every Woodside team (juniors and seniors) posted a win yesterday. WWTC would like to wish all its players and their families a very Merry Christmas and a great 2020. We look forward to seeing lots of you enjoying our steak/chicken sandwiches on pageant night.

21.01.2022 The Woodside Warriors Tennis Club committee would like to provide our players and families with an update around the end of our tennis season for 2019/20. The Hills Tennis Association, in consultation with Tennis SA and Tennis Australia has made the decision to conclude our season this weekend with grand finals being played between the top two teams. The green ball team who finished in 2nd place on their ladder will be able to attend training on Thursday of this week but for ...all other teams training is now finished. The committee have also decided to postpone our AGM and end of season event this Saturday and will be meeting on Monday to decide upon the best way to celebrate the end of this season and our teams successes at a later time. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to sharing better times with you in the 2020/21 season.

10.01.2022 After the tennis grand finals on the 21st March, we will be holding our end of year break-up at the Woodside Tennis Club with a quick AGM with nominations for new committee members, a shared BBQ lunch with BBQ meats available for purchase, as well as team presentations and the Coachs and Eric Burls awards. The BBQ will start at 12:30 with a cost of $20 per family. Could male players please bring along a savoury item/salad to share and female players bring along a sweet item ...to share. Please join us for a great afternoon of celebrating our club community. Hope we can count on seeing you all there. If you are interested in joining the committee, please contact us to nominate ASAP.
