The social enterprise company came on board as a Woolworths supplier after many of the restaurants and cafes they supply to have temporarily closed due to lockdown. From their Marrickville depot, the team at The Bread and Butter Project are working hard to supply 14 Woolworths Metro stores with fresh bread and pastries.

To ensure more customers are able to purchase what they need, we now have a two-pack per transaction limit on toilet paper, both in-store and online. The two-pack limit has been set to ensure more customers can access what they need during increased demand. Placing a limit of two will also ensure those who require more than the average quantity of toilet rolls, such as large families, care facilities or ch...ild care centres, for example, can still purchase the number of toilet rolls they may immediately require. Were working closely with our suppliers to get products onto shelves as quickly as we can. The makers of Kleenex, Sorbent, Quilton and Woolworths own range of toilet paper are continuing to produce extra stock in Australian facilities to meet the demand. As a result, large volumes of toilet paper supply are flowing through daily to our stores nationwide. With this ongoing stock delivery, we encourage customers to continue purchasing only what they require.
