19.01.2022 Once again I want to thank Fred Steer from Arc Infrastructure for allowing the mitigation team from WA to transform the Rail Corridor through Toodyay. I would also like to thank the town of Toodyay and it’s residents for putting up with the noise and the dust for several week. Toodyay experienced a major bush fire many years ago and completing these works has given the locals peace of mind by reducing the bush fire threat through the centre of town. One last thanks goes out t...o our accommodation hosts, Bobby and Paul. The team and I were lucky enough to to meet this great local couple who offered up their shearing quarters for us to stay in. Staying out of town and waking up every morning to a beautiful view, plenty of room for our equipment and coming home some nights to a cooked meal, thank you very much. #shireoftoodyay #easewa #departmentoffireandsafety #mitigation #bushfiresafe #hazardreduction #CommunitySafety Arc Infrastructure Shire of Toodyay @ Paradise Pastures Sheep Rescue & Sanctuary See more

12.01.2022 We recently ran into a bit of an obstacle when cleaning some fire breaks. After getting a beautiful ground clearance we needed some vertical clearance but because the vegetation grew through the fence, we ended up with some wire in our rotary axe. We had to do the majority of the job by hand, but the outcome was still pretty impressive

12.01.2022 Lesson learnt. Rest was done manually. Wasn't operating near the fence but wire got pulled in with overhanging branches.
