25.01.2022 Tough but responsible decision by the team at the Upper Hawkesbury Power Boat Club.

22.01.2022 So that was Taree 2020! Like the rest of 2020, nothing was the same as normal. We were months later than normal, we were there to work and we didn’t spend forever in Easter traffic It’s funny to look back at the first visit to Taree 3 1/2 years ago. I made the offer to stream and assist with their Facebook page as a thanks to Gary Livermore for helping me with Hume. I could have never imagined how it would evolve. ... That stream still remains one of the biggest we’ve ever done with over 500,000 viewing it!! The following Easter we came back because it now just seemed normal and the racing was great to watch. This is the year that we became one of them . We were treated like part of the family and both Shane and I were given memberships to the TAREE POWER BOAT CLUB. Roll around to the next season and Easter. Happily helping out with the Facebook and streaming, we expanded our talents (used very loosely) to entry packs etc. Everything we ever did was so gratefully received and EVERYONE in the club was amazingly welcoming. 2020 Easter would have been one of our biggest projects to date but we all know how that ended So, why tell you all of that to tell you how grateful Shane and I are to the members of the TAPBC. This weekend I came up to assist with the COVID stuff and Shane was going to stream (but he ended up manning the gate to ensure that the event went ahead- sorry about the mobile phone footage. I’d hoped it would be better than nothing) Instead of us helping, the guys took time out of their own busy schedules and lives to ensure Shane got do his cell test. Albury doesn’t offer a lot of cell tests and knowing that he needed to do one, they did it just for him. The time, support and advice given to Shane was phenomenal and won’t ever be forgotten. It is incredible that these people stopped their lives, jobs and tasks to make sure that my hubby will be in the best position possible when he races The Boss is something that I won’t ever be able to put into words. To our Taree boating family, THANK YOU for the welcome the hospitality the friendship letting me do my crazy boat thing and making sure my hubby will be in the best position possible Now the road trip home. There is a meeting this Wednesday at the Upper Hawkesbury Power Boat Club (details are included in the video) to discuss what can be done. Good luck and we hope the meeting goes well. 15.01.2022 Happy New Year I know that it's not quite here yet however 2020 has me back working in my day job and this is a busy time in the security world (Yes, that's right- Shane and I are actually in security!) so I needed to make sure that we got a chance to wish you all a Happy New Year. At the end of an interesting year, we have put a lot less kms on Shane's Ranger not going to race meetings. I have gone from live streaming boats to funerals and people less events and spent hours... standing at the door of a supermarket guarding toilet paper (a real career highlight ) The engine for The Boss is the only thing left and it's in the hands of the engine builder so we just need to be patient. The transporter has been sitting collecting dust and the pontoon boat is looking AWESOME, however is taking a little bit of time to get back together as Shane took it right back to 2 pontoons and is building it back up. We've missing seeing you, or reading your comments, and hope that 2021 brings about more racing and familiar faces. Wishing you a safe and Happy New Year, See you on the water somewhere soon, Joh

07.01.2022 FLASHBACK TO 2016 Random fact- the weekend before was the first major circuit race I had ever been to and was only in Berri as it was my birthday on the Friday and asked Shane to take me for my present. The whole "Work'n On It" streaming came about after doing these videos and NO idea about the sport. ... It's funny to look back at it knowing I had one hand held camera that I videoed the race, took the card out, uploaded in through my iPad so I could record the next one. 07.01.2022 We were excited to hear that Chesser Family Racing Fury was on the water. Today the news got even better as Brenton and Hayden Chesser both had a drive. For both of these gents it was their first drive of a blown boat and knowing how much seeing this video meant to us, we can only imagine what it was like for them. ... The next chapter in Chesser racing will be keenly watched by many. Thank you to Nathan for capturing the moment and allowing us to share it.
